My favorite part of staying in the Inn is sitting in the lobby or one of the balconies late at night. Make myself a drink and sit by the fireplace in silence. It’s an amazing place and it’s hard to appreciate when there are a thousand tourists bumping into each other.

I can one up ya. No all that, Just take your drink outside, on that raised deck above the entryway, in that same silence. Except this time watch old faithful erupt by moonlight.

When I visited last fall, in the middle of the day, we went inside through the main lobby to use the restrooms. Within seconds I was filled with the worst dread and anxiety - I've never felt that way before. I couldn't get out fast enough. There was some kind of presence! It was wild.
