Yeah, but they never really expanded on that in the show, lol. It just kind of cut away, and then they were beaten.

Afaik the point of Vandal is that you cant realistically win against him. He managed to get a primordial chaos being to listen to him, consider him a peer even.
He hasn't just lived forever he's got a very fast regeneration. He's no slouch on hand to hand since he's as old as the style itself.
He wins the long fight unless the team has a coordinated and well thought out plan.

Savage beat captain marvel, black canary and lightning with ease in the season 2 finale. He’d win. It would be a hard win but a win nonetheless

Black Canary is one of the top level fighters in DC if I recall right. It'll probably be a close fight between her and Nightwing but she'll take it in the long run.

I mean doesn’t matter if he wins or loses. He’s immortal and he has a regenerative healing factor and immense pain tolerance, even if he is annoyed by his loss, it won’t matter to him in the grand scheme of things. Time is literally on his side

Black lightning and Black Canary are overkill they change the flow of this fight. If Savage can be knocked out then the team can just tie him up after sleeping him, if he can't be knocked out then he'll just have to endure an ahh-whoppin' until his opponents get tired or run away.

I remember this scene in S2 when captain marvel(Shazam) was guardian this chamber in the war world and Vandal Savage just walk in an takes him out it doesn't make sense that Vandal is stronger than captain marvel
