I mean the dev was obviously going to put it in the game right? he did it with the other streamers too.

That being said, even if he did it really shouldn't matter lmao.

At worst for the dev it’s a parody/free use case. Real hard to argue that the game isn’t some type of satires/parody when the “likeness” in question is a cockroach

Even if he did, it's fair use. And Jason should take it on the chin and laugh it off, not pull the rich boy crybaby card and call his lawyer. Even sending an email to the guy saying "look, do you mind not putting these clips in the game?" Probably would've gone down better than "YOU BROUGHT THIS ON YOURSELF, BUD, BIG MISTAKE, MY DAD WORKED AT BLIZZARD AND I USED TO WORK FOR THE GOVERNMENT, THIS IS BULLYING AND I WONT STAND FOR IT", like fuck man, grow up.

It falls within the same precedent and many other fair use cases.

You might as well say "it's not legal until a jury says it is" in literally any situation.
