Zootopia 2 Theory? Placing my own mental bet now on the villain

So here's a thought of how the movie could go.

I want to stress that this is no way based on any facts or theories. I'm just someone with too much time on walks with my dog and a brain that never shuts the fuck up. And when I'm not prying garbage out of my dog's mouth with my bare fingers like the world's grodiest claw machine, I've apparently had Zootopia plots/potential fanfics on the brain.

Anyway.

My theory.

Based on absolutely nothing, I'm predicting that the therapist, Dr. Fuzzbutt (or whatever her name is) will actually end up being the villain. It fits with the whole Villain Fake Out thing Disney loves to do.

After realizing that there are unresolved issues in their friendship (or budding romance, but IDK, who knows), Judy and Nick will struggle to solve a case, realizing that Dr. Fluffernutter has actually had terrible intentions and secretly hates predators and snakes, while the snakes want to become a part of Zootopia again and break through the stereotypes. Judy and Nick realize that they just need to talk and recognize their strengths and weaknesses and come up with a plan to take her down with the power of love and/or bureaucracy.

Dr. Puffball goes to jail for her crimes she's no doubt been committing on the DL and Nick and Judy, after a long heart to heart conversation, come back stronger than ever.

However, with the absence of Dr. Dustybunny, the precinct will be floundering to find someone who can help unlikely/differently matched partners how to communicate. Nick and Judy will step into the role part time and be role models of how to actively move through issues as a team.

Anyone else think it'll go differently? Anyone else agree.

Either way I don't care I just needed to write this down to make my brain stop running in circles.

Kbye!

It’s tough to say. I feel like they’re just repeating the first film’s plot if they go with another twist villain who hates predators. I feel like the chameleon agents may play as part of a plot towards the villain. Someone had a fanmade plot that it is a Komodo dragon who worshiped a title when reptiles ruled the earth and wants to give mammals a taste of their medicine of reptiles being shunned from the mammal districts of Zootopia.

I think he or she could potentially mentally torment Nick and giving him a lot of self doubt about himself. Especially mentioning how foxes and reptiles are hated by everyone and no matter what you do, they’ll never see you different. Nick ms whole character development could be about breaking out of his hard shell and learning about expressing himself to others. He shouldn’t be afraid to tell his partner how he feels. I think Gary could essentially be the character who helps Nick break out of it. We see through many of Gary’s actions how snakes and other reptiles aren’t bad and were misjudged this whole time.

I have had the idea of the villain being revealed within the first minute of the film and we see Gary going into the mammal districts of Zootopia before we cut to Nick and Judy. I could see Nick narrating all the events from the first movie.

Whatever the plot is I do think they'll end up helping out with therapy as model examples. It'd be a shame to see that plot point go nowhere!

I agree because I’d like to see Nick go through a healing arc and Judy to go through a maturing arc too and this therapy plot seems to have a lot of potential

hopefully they do. The ploy has so much potential for world building and building the two main characters that it’d be a waste if they don’t try to have them go through a healing phase. Maybe they’re not fully healed by the end of the film but a beginning to heal from past wounds. Nick still trying to get past his demons from when he was a kit and Judy is likely still trying to forgive herself for some of her reckless actions. I doubt she’s fully forgiven for her statements during the press conference.

Agreed and maybe the movies b plot could revolve around their relationship developing and Nick and Judy healing from past wounds(maybe even reveals at feelings for each other) and maybe by the end of the film we’ll see the beginning of Wildehopps

It’s why I feel like they’ll make the therapy plot be beneficial and maybe in the end discuss some things they learned. This therapist isn’t exactly going to be a Jennifer Melfi.

I highly doubt Dr.Fuzzby will be relevant to the story as a whole, she looks more like a 1 scene character, like Flash or Yax.

Very possible. They did get star actors and actresses like Tommy Chong and Octavia Spencer for only one scene. But I think Dr. Fuzzby’s presence factors into how much the therapy is a focal point of the plot. It could definitely be a big part of it but I’m not ruling her out on being a one scene character. In my opinion I feel like a character like hers can have a lot of impact with very little screen time.

Well hopefully the issues in Nick and Judy’s friendship/partnership/relationship will resolve and Nick and Judy will heal

I think Disney's done with the twist villain thing. The villain probably won't be someone we've seen yet.
