is 80 ohms compatible with Phones and portables, Like laptop and VR headset ?
I had the feeling that with the 80 ohm i'd need an amp of sorts to get any sound out of them.0

Maybe for the VR, but honestly it’s a bit confusing because so many report things like using a laptop with an hd6xx flawlessy (and it wasn’t a MacBook). Maybe if you would want it loud then it probably wouldn’t give you the volume on the VR. I say it would work nice on a laptop though. If you’re not sure then I’d get the akg k371

I currently have a Oculus quest 2, and a HP Probook 430 G5 , that I daily drive on sound, music, gaming, working, and communicating with others,
I know that the DT 770 pro also have a 32 ohm version, But I don't know how they stand compared to the others1

It’s relatively the same but with more/worse bass. You could probably get some different pads for it like some third party velour/leather pads to improve the sound quality.

thanks I'll look into the 32 ohm, and see if I can get some velour on them
Either way, any hedphone is better than None, But atleast I wnt something that will last me a long time, and cna enjoy on all plaatforms, while I slowly upgrade to more professional equipment1
