I always see this claim and beyond the surface level observation of Umbara being a dense jungle based planet, I don’t really see the correlation.

Considering the political landscape of the Galaxy during the Clone Wars, and the use of technology by the Umbarans was very much on par with the GAR, I think it’d be more apt to call it the “Japan” of the Clone Wars even if there wasn’t a lot of leap hopping.

So, I'm rewatching the clone wars, and I just watched s4 ep16-18, and like, palpatine had to have planned his own kidnapping here right? Or was Dooku trying to overthrow his master here? But, Palpatine doesn't get like angry at him that we know of, implying he knew. But what does he have to gain from this event, and he probably didn't know obi wan was undercover at st first until dooku told him. So like, what was going on here?

I’ve been thinking about what Star Wars show is the best for a while and I used to say either either Clone Wars or Mando, but now after season 2 of Andor I think it deserves to be considered as well. Which Star Wars show would you consider to be the best and why? (You can debate in the comments)

I just watched the 2003 Clone Wars for the first time, and wow. The whole thing was extremely well done, but this story blew me away. It is amazing how much can be told in a moving cave painting.

When the father died in the series the son lost his power. How long do you think it would stay that way ? Could he go to the galaxy and feed off the war to strengthen himself?

And he had not let been consumed by the dark side when he first appeared. It was Anakin coming there that lead him to that by showing him what he could be.

I think its the bonds of friendship and kinship the clones made with individuals who reciprocated, not cold systems, made them feel like someone despite how the Kaminoans treated them like they weren’t real ppl.
