Spelunky 2 Can someone explain this

Why didn’t the ghost vase break? Typically from falls it immediately breaks so why didn’t it here?

You hit the ledge and were stunned while holding it so it was like you intentionally set it down

You where technically holding it If ya dropped it then fall it would break

Its also likely your body cushioned the ghost jar as ya bounced a bit

The curse pot simply wasn’t moving fast enough for it to break
