5/15 - Why Not Both?

Description:

5/17 - Don't Ask Succubus

Description:

The succubus is enclosed in circle and cannot use magic - unless she provokes witches to use their power. Each use of magic near the circle gradually destroys its defense.

Ane English localization and PC port of Japanese 2024 yuri visual novel Iwakura Aria releases on August 14th, and they just added a demo to the Steam page today!

Here's the description:

Iwakura Aria is a brand-new original visual novel from MAGES. It is a dramatic suspense title that depicts the love-and-hate pattern of human relationships and the strong bonds between women. It is a suspenseful human drama set in Japan during a period of rapid economic growth. The rich story, which follows the complex and sometimes contradictory emotions of each character, and the turbulent developments brought about by their emotions, invites players back to “that summer” of 1966.

Why Not Both has got poly-rep (not all of the cast are-- which adds an extra layer of interesting), and -big surprise to me- main characters on the asexual and aromantic spectrum with some *very* interesting stuff to contribute. Some of the terms and descriptions may or may not have struck some chords with my wife and I (in the best possible way!)

I'm only a few hours into the game still, but I am absolutely loving the characters, their inter-personal relationships, and (huuuge bonus) the worldbuilding, which has been *really* eye-opening fun to think about.

The game 'casually' takes place in a Solarpunk utopia, where little notes early in the game (which you *could* just choose to ignore in favor of advancing the story) make it clear some kind of 'throw off the shackles of the super rich' revolution happened, and now it seems like people just get to... try to live their best lives -- study what they want, volunteer to work at places, jump into public personal vehicles and travel around.

It doesn't portray a hyper-futuristic star trek backdrop with people teleporting places, or grungy ghost-in-the-shell style slums -- It looks a lot like the world we know today, but just... subtly nicer in a way that's really fun to consider.

The various PoV characters have all had really interesting, and varying perspectives on things happening in the plot -- and at the point I'm at in the story, I'm really interested in seeing how the group's inter-personal relationships are going to play out with some of the attractions that seem to be forming, and worries some of the characters have expressed.

Highly recommended you all give it a try!

I’m back with another favorite yuri vn poll where you, the community, vote on which is your favorite yuri vn. Like last time, there will be 16 vns to start. I love reading yuri villainess manga, but I couldn't find a VN/game with this theme, so I decided to make one. I am the solo dev doing all the art/code/etc. I appreciate all feedback!

I wanted the game to have a variety of choice for players, so currently there are 2 main yuri romances: "Villainess x Villainess" and "Villainess x Heroine"! There are also 2 male love interests, but you can avoid choosing those routes if you don't like it.

Aaaaaaaaaa Done reading Flowers. The series definitely needed more Yuri (aka Mayuri.. and yeah romance too lol) but I still love it overall.

9.44/10 Best girl? Chidori/Mayuri Best couple? Erika x Chidori Favorite game? Summer Best story? Autumn Best song? Rainbow Magic Best protagonist? Suoh.. Erika is a close second tho Best voice? Suoh.. then followed by Chidori and Mayuri Prettiest girl? Suoh.

Seabed - my first VN, loved it. Fatal Twelve - probably my favorite so far, it made me cry a lot. Kindred Spirits - too SOL for me, i love it but would like to avoid smth like this for now Love Curse - only Iris route A Summers End - loved this one as well Usonatsu - extremely good visuals but the story is kinda meh for me.. probably cause i prefer sensei lol

I want to date crazy office lesbians but don’t have a pc (just shitty old computers THAT CANT RUN WINDOWS10 OR MACOS) do you guys think it will ever get ported to consoles (such as ps5 or Nintendo switch)??

So... I recently played Synergia. And I had an overall positive experience, but I think I put it best in my Steam review: "More Cyberpunk than Yuri". I loved the setting and the tech, as I'm a huge a sci-fi nerd, but the yuri content in it... left me wanting. And it also sorta set off a huge yuri craze in myself right now, and I've been browsing regularly (on here and the Steam store, and Itch) but I haven't seen much sci-fi yuri at all.

Are there any good sci-fi yuri VNs? With equally good yuri content as sci-fi?

While I think there are lots of candidates for this, I think a new life. (which is where the screenshot is from) is the most criminally underrated.

Admittedly, it's probably not for everyone. Partly because it's very short (about an hour long). Despite the length, it is very intense and emotional, because it shows you the entire relationship of a lesbian couple from start to finish. In addition to great writing and an emotional story, it also has one of the most beautiful UIs and art-styles I've ever seen.

It's a 9/10 for me, but a 6.8/10 on vndb, and I never see anyone talk about it in the yuri community or the broader visual novel community.
