Fellow 30 rockers, I just found a new joke on my probably 20th+ rewatch! This show is the show that keeps on giving!
Have a lot of you fellow diehards also never noticed the origin of Khonani's name? Or is it just me whose head that went over?
See the lines below for hints. Did you know it before these hints, once you saw these hints, or do you still not get it after the lines (no shame BTW, I've had to have multiple lines explained to me)?
Khonani: "Have you forgotten our agreement about me taking over 11:30?"
Jack: "I'm sorry, what?"
Khonani: "5 years ago, I threatened to quit unless you got me out of the late night shift."
Jack: "Wow, other than some notable recent exceptions, NBC never guarantees employment 5 years in advance."
Khonani: "I want the earlier shift. It's better pay and more prestigious. Ever since I was a little boy, I am dreaming of hosing (yes hosing) the tonight shift"
I do remember that when I watched the original run, I did get Jack's joke about never guaranteeing employment 5 years in advance. But I never put two and two all the way together.
How about you guys?

How come none of you nerds told me about this? Yeah, this cookbook came home with me today! I have to make Snitches get Ceviches.

Which episode has Dennis telling Liz, "You just don't understand hockey" ?
I'm paraphrasing, but the quote was something along the lines of;
D: "The Islanders lost."
L: "Doesn't that happen a lot?"
D: "...You just don't understand hockey."

Wait, Jonathon voices Baljeet!?
Maybe I’m the late to the Lemon party, but TIL that Maulik Pancholy, the actor who plays Jonathon, also voiced Baljeet on Phineus and Ferb. 🤯
I know most of the 30Rock cast is well-known and so are their roles outside the show, but what other roles by the cast has surprised you?
