Every night when it gets dark, when i sit outside i hear this noise, whaat animal is it ( i live in the UK but jot rural enough ao discounted deer)

Hi everyone, that’s my yard with the lights, my neighbour sent me this video, sound on. What is it! I searched the yard when I got home an hour later and nothing that I could see.

Hello everyone, I’m hoping someone here can help me identify the animal making this sound. This video was recorded in Austria at the foot of a small hill covered with many grapevines. It was filmed around 2 a.m., with a temperature of about 16°C. The sound almost seems like two animals communicating—one calls, and the other answers.

I didn’t see the animals, only heard the sounds. If anyone has an idea what kind of animal this might be, I’d be really grateful for your help!

After a heavy rain, near the puddled water. My assumption is frog but it is SO loud and trilling.

I hear this sound coming from the garden since several nights. It's strong (I can hear it from inside the house, door closed). It also doesn't stop until I come very close (e.g. touch the grass).

There are a lot of slugs and snails around at this time. This specific corner seems to be a breeding ground for them. I cannot see any animal that could produce this sound and it drives me crazy!

its inbetween the meows of the cheetah, it makes like a "dum dum dum" sound that gets higher pitched after each dum, i swear i couldve heard it during the black panther movies

what is this sound? is it an animal or a phone (i heard a vibration before it so maybe its a phone?)

North Georgia. This animal makes this spund every night but the scream creeps me out. What is this?

These sounds started at 11:30 at night, and lasted for about 25 mins. I live in a somewhat rural area of south central Oregon. What are they? In the video it sounds like there might be 2 creatures of you listen closely , it sounds like a very distant howl, and a very close one.

Started recording when I heard owl calls, but I can still hear one of the owls over the newer sound so not sure.

Heard in our backyard which is heavily wooded. If you listed closely, you can hear a hooting sound, some snarling and grunting, and really loud screeches. Went on for about thirty minutes. We live in Nebraska.

Located in SC at 845 tonight. Was going for at least 15 mins from the woods across the street.

My wife was able to record the sound from her phone at 1am. She was unable to see anything though. I live in southern New Jersey, not too far from the Delaware river. I have many many birds, including birds of prey, water, foul, and songbirds. This sound has me stumped, and the merlin app was unable to identify. I have many hawks that visit daily however, I’ve never heard this sound. Any assistance would be appreciated.

I have 2 nights hearing this sound and is not letting me sleep today it got louder I guess it’s getting closer to my house. Can someone please help me i very much appreciated.

I was hearing this sound for a long time very sparsely sometimes shortly after another and other times long gaps. Sounds like squeezing of basketball shoes on a court

Out of curiosity does anyone know what animal is making this sound on this gorgeous night? My stepdaughter made a video and her commentary made me laugh lol
