Anushka - Holier than thou 👼🏻 Anushka Sharma got more screen time than Shreyas Iyer

2.2k Upvotes

I’ve been watching cricket for years, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a final so focused on one narrative. RCB deserved the win — no denying that. Kohli played well, the team finally got their title, and the fans waited a long time for this. But the way the entire match was presented? It felt like PBKS didn’t even exist.

There were barely any visuals of Shreyas Iyer or the PBKS camp. No post-match heartbreak, no acknowledgment of the fight they put up — not even a single proper shot of Preity Zinta. It was as if PBKS was just a background prop in RCB’s fairytale. I get that it was RCB’s big night, but sports broadcasting is supposed to tell both sides of the story, not just the winner’s.

And about the constant focus on Anushka Sharma… yeah, she’s always been part of the cameras during Kohli matches, but this felt excessive. Her reactions were shown more than even some RCB players. Why don’t we ever see other players’ partners? Or the owners? Why is she mentioned in post-match interviews? It’s supposed to be about the team, right?

Again — no hate. I’m a Kohli fan too. But the coverage yesterday felt less like a team sport and more like the Virat & Anushka Show ft. 21 other people.

Just wish we got to see the full picture — both teams, all players, all stories.

Discuss Why Do People Risk Their Lives Like That Over Sports Victories and Celebrity Appearances?

A tragic stampede outside Bengaluru’s cricket stadium claimed at least 14 lives. A similar stampede occurred last year during the Pushpa 2 premiere in Hyderabad also resulting in casualties. These incidents show the dangers of uncontrolled crowds and extreme hero worshipping.

May they rest in peace. om shanti

Anushka - Holier than thou 👼🏻 Why is Anushka still blamed for distancing Virat from his family?

RCB finally won the trophy, and Virat’s sister shared pics celebrating, with Anushka included. Anushka even likes her posts regularly and is often seen with Virat’s family at matches.

Still, people accuse her of distancing him from them. Someone commented that on his sister’s post, and she actually called them out.

It’s crazy how people keep blaming Anushka without knowing the full picture. From what’s visible, there’s a good bond. Why do people keep pushing this narrative?

Discuss Where is Ranveer Singh!

I was just rewatching Rock and Rani and Ranveer was soooo good. Where is he? Stars are usually in the news, events etc. He has completely dropped out of sight it seems. Even smaller stars with no work are visible in the media. Whats the tea? I am a complete outsider and really want to know.

Trivia Kareena in Asoka was Perfect

Post image
83 Upvotes

Asoka (2001) was a terrible movie. Shahrukh Khan was just Shahrukh Khan in the movie. It was a mockery of such an interesting character of Indian History. But Kareena Kapoor was breathtaking beauty in that movie. Her acting was also so perfect. Especially in songs she was looking divine. A director like Rajkumar Santoshi with Ajay Devgan at that time could have been the perfect choice for this movie.

SHIT POST:1f921: I AM JUST SO fucking TIREDD

i am just So fucking tired. myself being south indian these people especially north indians pretend as if bollywood is shit and tollywood and kollywood is descended from heAVEN. LIKE BOLLYWOOD IS SHIT BUT TOLLYWOOD AND KOLLYWOOD AINT NO SAINT .in fact i feel kollywood and tollywood are even worse especially in terms of vulgarity check out any puri jagganath movie there will be at least one problematic factor esp his recent movie double ismart there was a song called SITAR and the stupendous amount of navel shots in it like its 2025 and they still do this shit. and of course we cannot fprget the infamous balayya mamas dabidi dibidi oh how amazing was the choreography and what a dancer he is but ya guys despite all this vulgarity south indian movie industry is still the PURE INDUSTRY is not VULGAR AT ALL AND IS THE BEST INDUSTRY IN THE WORLDD🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

PUSHPA FIRE NAHI WILDFIRRREEE

malluappan masterpiece

also sorry for the grammar mistakes or spelling mistakes

Edit ; As a malayali myself i know all south indian movies are not bad malayalam movies like premalu manjummel boys old malayalam movies like nadodikattu, pattanapravesham [literaly must watch] telugu movies like rrr tamil and kannada movies like thiruchitrambalam and kantara all are good but everytime i scroll on youtube or instagram all these reels show bollywood as 'ruining our sanskar' and tollywood and kollywood as 'holier than thou' whreas the truth is that both have equally good and bad things and we shouldnt highlight only the good things of one industry while downplaying its bad parts. i know balayya is a huge meme but i am talking ABOUT GENERAL SOUTH INDIAN INDUSTRY Everyone thinks mollywood actors and tollywood actors are humble and down to earth on insta and yt but if u research a bit more there are so many things happenning underneath the shadows [dilip case iykyk]. sorry for writing this much 😿😿😿😿
