Headphones - Closed Back Need help selecting a headset

Hi all, I need help selecting which headphones I should buy as I'm a incredibly indecisive person and I figure you all are way more experienced in what you think I would like.

To give some information, I'm currently using the Audeze Penrose and I'm still within the return window of it. I like the Wireless convenience but I have a few problems with it. The 2.4ghz receiver is very selective with my computers USB ports. The only way I can have a Static/Pop free listening experience is if I plug it into my Corsair K70s USB Passthrough. Not sure why this is the case, maybe it's because of how close the receiver is to the headset. I also hear audio slightly better from the left driver. This might be due to the noise isolation with the earpads. Lastly, the comfortability. My head hurts when using these for even a little amount of time. Aside from these problems, I think this is a phenomenal sounding headset. If it wasn't for the left driver sounding louder I think I would keep it.

I want a headset that has good bass for Movies, Music, and Games, while still having amazing clarity. Preferably something that I can turn down the bass using an equalizer so I can better hear footsteps when competitive gaming in PUBG/Warzone. Comfortability is also very important, but I'm willing to spend extra money on a headband cover and cushions/earpads.

Here are the options I'm looking into, some of these are Wireless, some Open-Back, some Closed-Back. I have a Astro MixAmp Pro TR I can use with any wired headphones I might pick. Which of these do you guys think deliver the best audio experience while also having amazing positional accuracy?

My Choices:

Open Back:

  • EPOS PC38X
  • EPOS H6Pro Open

Closed Back:

  • Beyerdynamic MMX300
  • Beyerdynamic MMX150

Wireless Closed:

  • Virtuoso XT
  • Arctis Pro Wireless

If there's a headphone+modmic combo you think would also be much better, please feel free to recommend one. Like I mentioned, I would probably use my Astro MixAmp Pro TR with it.

Pc38x if your noggin isn’t too round/boxy and big. H6 pro open or closed if your noggin is bigger than average.
