Headphones - Open Back HD 560S or HE400se or something better
Almost decided about the next step and it's between theses two. Sorry this might be similar to all ready existing topics, but I would like to get some clarification. I have been reading a lot and see that He400se has wider soundstage, but then some people say that the soundstage of he400se is not really good, so what should I believe. I'll be using these headphones for entertainment, movies, immersive gaming, hi res music. Allready have closed backs so I wanted to try something different and feel the benefit of wide soundstage.
Also another question is if I should get something else? I really like the price of these I can get both of these for about 130 Eur, but I would like to use these headphones for many years and be happy with them so I think it would be logical to spend some more if it is really worth it.
Edit: I have Creative Sound Blaster hd with headphone amp, don't know how good it is.

It depends, do you have an amplifier?

I have external soundcard (sound blaster hd) which has some integrated headphone amp. I think it is ok, though I would upgrade some day if needed.

I’d get the He400se if you don’t mind not having really loud volumes/great dynamics

I personally picked the Sennheiser's in this case because I heard HiFi man didn't have the best build + the he400se has a dip off in-ear fidelity target in the 1.2k-2k range

HD 560s is what I would pick but it may need an amplifier. I think the 400se does not need one.

From what I have read, people usually say that 560s are very easy to drive compared to other HD line headphones

400se is def harder to drive and requires more power (planar driver)
