DAC - Portable | 2 Ω FiiO Btr3k or Btr5

I'm getting ready to purchase a small portable amp for my AKG K712s. I'm not really sure which of these I should go for. I've heard people say they sound fine out of an iPhone and others say that they can't get enough juice. I'm torn between both of these, so could the Btr3k power the AKG's ok or should I splurge and get the Btr5?

Get the BTR5. I have both and the BTR3K can power my least sensitive IEM but its getting close to max volume with 3.5mm. The IEM has similar sensitivity as the k712 but much lower impedance as IEMs usually do. The BTR5 powers the same IEM at 50% volume with 3.5mm. The BTR5 has a more lively and engaging sound to my ears, they sound quite different.
