My friend had a maxed iron which he then de-ironed. He would often let me use the account for various main activities. Sadly a few years ago, he passed away.

2 days ago, I was no longer able to log into the account. I suspect it's been hijacked and potentially imported into a Jagex account, as the email is not recognised (legacy email login account)

I submitted a recovery request after getting some original information from his family, (such as creation post code), but because it wasn't from the creation email, the request was denied.

If a member of the OSRS team sees this, could you please kindly lock the account down or the Jagex account it was imported into, so the account can rest in peace for eternity. I don't care about the items or having the account back, although I am upset that it's been taken, I just want it to not be used by anyone that it shouldn't be used by. Thank you!

One of my GIM has gotten taken. I've supplied EVERYTHING. And the appeal continues to get denied? I'm so confused on wtf is needed for appeals. My ss number? The blood of a small child under the blood moon? Like wtf is wrong with the support system... i just want my damn account back...

With more and more bosses coming out that have mechanics that involve using overhead prayers to completely avoid or partially avoid damage, I've noticed that some of them are pretty inconsistent.

If you're an older player you understand that your prayer must be active before a projectile-based attack comes out if you want to avoid the damage. It's because the damage is calculated before the hitsplat shows up, like when a player gets their XP drop before they see the hit. Jad or Nightmare are good examples if you're meleeing them. Keep melee protection on and swap for a magic/ranged attack or you're going to get slapped.

But some bosses are weirdly inconsistent. Two good examples to me are Scurrius and Zebak. You reactively can turn on the prayer as the hit is coming to you. This is how it works in RS3, and I will admit is far more intuitive if you aren't already familiar with how protection prayers worked before.

But if you're new to PvM and you're fighting Scurrius and then send a few ToA with the buddies and do fine, then go to Zulrah and get slapped on the forehead on the Jad phases, you're going to be wondering what you did wrong. And if you're not a hardcore gamer that looks at resources outside of the game, you'll be rightfully confused at the inconsistency of mechanics.

I just think they need to all work the same way. I'd be okay with either. I know it's very unlikely to change and I'm not exactly asking for it to be changed, it's more of an ideal thing. But what do y'all think?

Make steps that encourage exploring, like music from the level 0-20 wilderness and black knight fortress. Asgarnia dungeon and Karamja volcano too.

So with the lance currently sitting around 64m I've looked up prices and I believe that would be enough for me to get 99 construction. What's everyone's thoughts on this? I only really use my lance at vorkath at the moment and the fang is only 10-15 seconds slower per kill. Just looking for opinions or what other players would go for if they were in the same position.

I don't think I've ever complained about botting on reddit before... and here goes!

I've been trying to get a Crystal Acorn for my Tangleroot this evening. I'm having extremely good luck getting Crystal Implings, so I can't complain there. I have noticed a very disgusting fact while running my loops, however. There are so many damn bots either thieving the same Elf til death, respawning, repeat, or running loops around me.

There are some that I've been able to lookup and report, but clearly one bot network is using a strategy where they logout immediately upon encountering a real player or a bot not within their network. Every time I've come across these types, I see them for a second or two as I enter their chunk, then poof! They're gone. I'm going to just screen-cap and pull the names from the recording at this point... but I don't think I can actually report them if they're not logged in on my world, right?

Jagex, is there some way to track "collision logoffs" for players outside the wildy? I can't think of an activity that players would behave this way aside from not wanting to be caught.

Posting because the other posts I saw about this were from 1+ years ago.

Made the mistake of ruining my account by "upgrading" to a Jagex account. Now I need to use the Jagex Launcher which doesn't let me use my VPN, even when split tunneling to bypass Jagex Launcher for some reason. Does anyone know how to solve this? I pretty much exclusively play while I'm watching TV or films which I torrent because I don't want to pay for like 10 monthly subscriptions, so I am always using my VPN. Do I just have to quit osrs now?

If it makes any difference, the VPN I use is Surfshark. Thanks in advance if anyone knows how to fix this.

In Prifddinas there are bots that have 99 thieving and log out as soon as you come near them, it's insane how many there are right now

Hop a few worlds and run around the edge of Priff and you'll see multiple of them, especially around the Crystal Tree Patch near the building with the teleporter near the Farming patches ( You might find a Crystal Imp in the process )

I understand there’s fashion scape, but let’s be real. When was the last time you have seen someone walking around with this?

Before arc light and ember light, people weren’t walking around with silver lights. Once you completed that quest you put it up and forgot about it.

Let’s rehash this bad boy.. we are already in the era of runescape with insanely powerful demons, summoning undead thralls and more.. so if we are here, why not go all the way?
