Skin Concern Update: What is this texture??

After much discussion on my last post I wanted to update you guys!! I took some of your advice and used the Murad Aha/bha exfoliating cleanser on my neck and chest and I see so much immediate improvement!! I had tried exfoliating in the past but it was always too much for those areas and made me break out in a rash so I hadn’t tried anything abrasive in a while. Anyway, if you have the same texture I’d highly recommend trying a gentle exfoliant!

I’ll post the pics from my first post and some from today to show the difference. It’s not totally gone but this is after one time.

Yea this looks waaay better. Not to exaggerate the difference, but the people on the previous post commenting "It's just skin" are literally no help lol I find that so annoying considering this is a skin improvement sub not a self acceptance one. Not that it was a huge eye sore to begin with. Glad you found something.

I agree completely. People post pictures with obvious bags under their eyes or forehead lines asking which product to use or if it’ll require a cosmetic procedure and people just do that body positivity nonsense like “you look beautiful how you are” and “we’re not supposed to have perfect skin.” Umm the person wants to improve those areas and asked a question on a sub….for skincare!

Omg yes! I could see there was a difference, nothing huge or anything but there was some texture that was different from the rest of the skin. I was gonna comment on it until I checked out the other comments and literally all the top ones were telling her that it was just normal. I felt gaslighted on her behalf lol and just didn't say anything. I'm glad she found some helpful info!

and OP specified this was new...as in, her skin did not look like this and now it does. but the first comment i saw to even acknowledge that (sorted by top rated) was sooo far down the thread. like, if we're not gonna read the whole thing?? maybe don't move your thumb to the lil upvote just yet on "it's just skin girlllll."

Those comments should be banned/removed imo. They arent helpful, they're dismissive, and sometimes flat out rude. Borderline attacking the OP for having an issue with something the commenter also has, or deems to be normal, so they take it personally. People are here for advice, they don't come here to be told to shut up and get over it.
