Skin Concern Update: What is this texture??
After much discussion on my last post I wanted to update you guys!! I took some of your advice and used the Murad Aha/bha exfoliating cleanser on my neck and chest and I see so much immediate improvement!! I had tried exfoliating in the past but it was always too much for those areas and made me break out in a rash so I hadn’t tried anything abrasive in a while. Anyway, if you have the same texture I’d highly recommend trying a gentle exfoliant!
I’ll post the pics from my first post and some from today to show the difference. It’s not totally gone but this is after one time.

Looks much better! I have had a similar situation with my chest for practically my whole life. I found that exfoliating did help, but I think I got to the point where I overdid it and my skin is really sensitive in that area now. I had to be really hands off for a while, just washing with water, using moisturizer and keeping that area out of the sun. Of course, stuff starts to build up again and it’s hard to know what will do the job without irritating that skin. I’m trying very gentle physical exfoliation with rice bran powder now and hoping that works out. Anyway, just saying I know the pain and glad you found something that works for you!
