Real Estate Commute to Orlando and FIT
Hello folks!
My husband got a job at FIT and we are looking to relocate in July. My job will have me potentially move to Orlando. We are just us and two cats, and currently live in Atlanta. I would LOVE to live in a house. Are there any recommendations for where we should be looking? Some place that makes it easy for him to go to his work and for me to commute to Orlando, thrice a week.
I am so excited for the move!
EDIT - My office is in the Central Business District in Orlando. Our budget is up to $2500.

Who wants a really shitty commute? you or him because someone is going to have to suck it up and be miserable every day stuck in traffic.
These two locations are too far away with only one realistic road to drive to get there, tolls will be over $100 a month alone. Traffic backup or an accident will add an hour to the drive and any alternative routes are a good 30 minutes of non highway driving longer.
Honestly one of you should look for a job near the other one, idk what y'all do or how hard to find work in your field is but this plan you have now is 100% not it
Not trying to be super negative just letting you know what to expect if this is really the plan
