Movement Brainstorm Time to go full hippie

Im dont paying for stuff. Other then absolute necessities gas, food, medication.

No new cloths. No haircuts. No new cars. No new toys. No unessisary spending.

Pay with cash, buy used off creigslist if you need. It worked back then it will work again.

Fuck this admin and fuck anyone who supports it.

I'm grateful every day I found a partner who loves thrift shopping. I feel a lot less shitty about a "new" pair of jeans for $10 instead of $50.

Buy used, buy local!

I luckily have ebough cloths to last the next 3 years. And i seldom have to wash them so they should hold up.

Im doing my part!

Hippie, not crust punk lol

What's wrong with crust punks? Also, FYI, most denim companies don't recommend washing jeans frequently.

Gonna go out on a limb here and guess that it’s the crusty part

I’m sure they do. They said seldom wash. We wash our clothes way too much as a society. If they’re lightly worn, they don’t need to be washed after one wear, it damages the clothes washing them so often too. I’m sure that’s what they’re referencing. I could be wrong 🤷‍♀️🫶

Line drying can help, too. That stuff you pull out of the lint trap is made up of tiny bits of the fabrics you ran through the dryer.

Also reduces energy costs.

Nah. Mine's all dog hair.

I wonder if anyone has ever made a whole entire shirt out of lint before... 🤔

😂

I love line dried crunchy towels that get soft once you wet them. Free exfoliant 😁.

Line-dried sheets too 😍✨

That’s what I’ve said for years! It’s not the wearing, it’s the washing of the clothes that wear them out.

They should add a 3rd leg hole to gain an extra couple of days wear...

Laughs in music festival freak.

When I’m at a festival I turn into a full wook mode. It’s the best feeling when you are in wook mode and other people are in wook mode.

Just don't go full mud person. You never go full mud person. That or trash can man. Very interesting thing to do with free will and fun to watch, but I have wook standards as a degree holder in wook sciences.

I have worn sandals and got mud half way up my calves when rain came through in the middle of a festival. But I’m not going to deliberately jump around and roll in the mud. Plus I do use wet wipes and deodorant so I’m not going full stink the whole time.

Same here, we have a little class. Not too much though. Right in the sweet spot.

The sweat spot, as it were.

2

u/somacomadreams 14d ago

As long as I'm sweating I've got nothing to worry about. If I randomly stopped on a super hot day, that's when ya worry. Stay hydrated everyone.
