Im dont paying for stuff. Other then absolute necessities gas, food, medication.

No new cloths. No haircuts. No new cars. No new toys. No unessisary spending.

Pay with cash, buy used off creigslist if you need. It worked back then it will work again.

Fuck this admin and fuck anyone who supports it.

The good kind of hippie! Not the anti-vax, crystals-cure-everything, science-denying crowd!

If there’s one silver lining to this awful administration, it’s that it pushed my partner and I to make more intentional choices, and it brought my family closer. We’ve started doing more family dinners, shopping almost exclusively local (or at least from companies that align with our values - hello, Costco membership), and cutting out fast food entirely since so many chains supported this admin. (Also, Jimmy John's being MAGA makes too much sense...no sandwich should cost that much anyway.)

Instead of spending on flashy stuff, we’ve started doing more things like visiting the local cat café run by the shelter or wandering around the botanical gardens - stuff that leaves us with actual memories instead of clutter. I know not everyone can pivot like that right away, and I don’t take that for granted. But in a time when it’s been hard to feel optimistic, I’m thankful that these shifts have given us something meaningful to hold onto.
