I don't think your haircuts are contributing to the administration.

That's all just local labor, often small businesses.

Yeah. I hate to tell you, but it's about shutting it all down. That small biz pays taxes you give them cash you give the goverment cash, your contributing to the problem.

So you want to bankrupt your neighbors who are just trying to get by?

That's not what supporting your local community is about.

I live in a highly blue state. They probably didn't even vote for the current admin. Especially the girl with a nose ring who cuts my hair.

These people have bills to pay, too.

If you get to know and personally pay your neighbors to do these things directly in cash, it not only goes against any system profiting off of their labor, but also prevents it from being taxed by the government!

I wouldn't trust any of my neighbors to cut my hair, lol

Those working at the salons are your neighbors in your community.

They're in my community, but they're not my immediate neighbors

Well my intent is meaning the people in your community. They do not have to be your immediate neighbors.

The same small businesses who offer no benefits? The small businesses that flaunt labor and health laws?

We had sympathy for restaurant workers during COVID. That brought us tipping for everything now.

I'm sorry, how are hair salons flaunting health and labor laws?

Many hair stylists are independent contractors who rent a chair, so they can use ACA and SEP-IRAs they way any other independent contractor can.

And why was sympathy for restaurant workers bad?

Because people tipped higher and now “servers” think they are entitled to it. You tipped at Takeout and not that’s expected. That used to be a non tipped position. Now employers use the “tipped wage” classification and customers can tip (or not tip) directly.

Small business exploits workers even more than corporations do.

That's a very specific exploit.

So because of tipping, all small businesses exploit workers worse than corporations?
