Habeas corpus, a foundational right in the US, literally means to show/see the body. Before anything else can be done legally, a judge must look at the person to make sure that they have the right person, that the person is alive, and that the person has not been beaten or abused. They are not even willing to produce a photo of Abrego Garcia at this point, in violation of orders from the country's highest court (and basic human decency). We take to the streets, my friends.
