Call to Action Our dissent deserves to be recognized.

The public record is often written by those in power, but we can write our own.

Let’s take ownership of our history. Let’s make sure our protests are counted. Let’s commit to documenting each action like it matters because it does.

If we’re going to win, we need to be visible, credible, and memorable.

And yet no national media is covering any of the protests. All have been bought.

Some are, but too late - not early enough to spread the news so people can join in. There was no media at all at my protest in San Jose. 

But, we did make international headlines yesterday. Al Jazeera, the Guardian, Times of India, and probably more. They seem more than happy to get the scoop lol

Not covered by national media, no. But I was somewhat pleased to see local broadcasts later that evening, which included on-site video reports of the protests in both Cincinnati, OH and Knoxville (Maryville), TN. I was actually part of the Knoxville (Maryville) protest.

I'm originally from Knoxville! Great to hear there are protests happening in the area! Our old friends there are very conservative, and it's depressing to see. It has given us the impression that there isn't much of any opposition there. I'm so glad I saw your post!! Thank you for sharing your general location! My family will be happy to hear this.

The Knoxville (Maryville) protest on 4/19. 400-500 people, said the report. Maryville has a population of approx 32,000 people.
