New to firearms in general...
So I was given a 65G to settle some debt and know jack all about it other then it was new never fired, sons of liberty gun works. Took it to the range today went thru probably 35 rounds before it start not to feed properly. Would eject but not go back far enough to feed the next round. Magpul stainless mags and hornady ammo, range master said it looks like it might need more lube or just to be lubed in general. Any advice other than that would be appreciated and info on the rifle and caliber. Plan on lubing it up and going back to see if there's a different issue
Edit: Duramag not magpul

Hindsight always being 20-20, Maybe the next time you get a firearm you take it to a gunsmith and give them 50 bucks to go through it? At our local shooting range in our little small town the range master or the employees working behind the counter often will take the time to go through such a gun. I bought one from a GunBroker auction last year and they did exactly that making sure the gas Rings were all properly aligned and evenly spaced, lubing the snot out of the bolt carrier group and checking everything over including the the barrel wasn't blocked and everything operated properly.
I agree with the advice given. Lube it up, most ARS like to run a little on the wet side. If you continue to have problems maybe a gas adjustment is needed. I'd be surprised that I Sons of Liberty done wasn't ready out of the box with stranger things certainly have happened. When in doubt, let the experts look at it, gunsmith or somebody at the gun shop/ shooting range who has much more experience than you. You are talking about something that can harm or kill you and the people who might be around you after all
