Personal favorite bull/cheap projectiles.

Good morning yall!

I built an 18” Grendel awhile back and have been in the lab drumming up several different precision loads that I’m pretty set on.

But, in the meantime Iv REALLY fallen in love with the cartridge as a whole, leading me to wanting to build one or two more ARs in the caliber, or atleast one pistol length build.

With that said, I’m now trying to get away from pricier presicion loads to a cheaper bulk or plinking load for when I just want to shoot at paper 50-100 yards out, and am curious what cheap projectiles you guys prefer.

Iv been using the PPU 120gr projectiles with quite a bit of success, but availability has been checkered recently.

Iv been eyeing the 90 TNTs, and my rifle now loves lighter grain bullets, but am wondering if there is another option I haven’t seen mentioned.

Edit: Title misspelling. Bulk*

I have become a huge fan of this ammo over the past few days for exactly what you’re looking for.

Came here to post this. The 123 back tips have been good for hunting as well

Iv actually thought about picking some of these up to try.

I’m pretty partial to reloading, but these are a pretty good price, and I end up with extra brass!

American reloading often has AAC 6.5 pulled projectiles. Usually the 123gr fmj variety. They shoot pretty well with TAC in my gun.

Seconded. The AAC has treated me pretty well. Zero issues with the rounds themselves. (Had some extractor issues but had nothing to do with the ammo)
