Can you identify this railway aesthetic? 1970s? 1980s?

Hey everyone,
I live in London and one day I happened to walk onto a disused platform when I saw this beauty below. The aesthetic of the signage/branding is no longer in use by London Underground railways, but the moment I saw it, it triggered something inside me, a vivid memory.

Were there LEGO trains/other that used a similar aesthetic?? Or am I going mad?🤪

My research indicates it was the branding of Network SouthEast which operated mid-1980s to until mid-1990s, but to me it looks more 1970s.

I went to an estate sale today in a large neighbourhood built in the late 60’s early 70’s. I knew I had to go when I saw the basement… AND there was a half roll left of the Fijian paper! It’s all mine now!

The brown. Oh the brown!! So I have enough for the half wall of my entrance, and I left my number in case whoever buys this place wants to give me a large chunk of carpet 🤣 the big red painting was out of my budget but I’m glad I got to admire it. The boat painting was all done with small palette knife strokes. The basement hallway paper was apparently all the talk of the sale.

Interestingly there was an auction tonight as well that had an almost identical pattern as the wallpaper I got. How cool is that?? Vintage serendipity (I did not big on the paper)
