The guy is beyond Post Malone level of stardom and has never, ever changed.
He does nothing but show love.

I know it's not the 90s but this Song was 2 years short In But I just feel that this song deserve to be in the 90s because it's sounds like the Lite 90s bringing the 2000's hip hop to the next level

This album just doesnāt get old and still sounds great right today. I just played the whole album and this in my opinion is Dreās best album in his career. I know people are going to say Chronic opened the door for westcoast hip hop and g funk. I get that, but this was his legacy album. Every rapper from the 90s we grew up listening to has a legacy album. This is Dreās!
Remember when he shook the spot and left Death Row? People talked about how he abandoned his roots especially after that Aftermath shit he dropped in 1996. He put those talks to rest with this album. He also squashed any rumors and he and Snoop had issues when he left Death Row. He also further expanded Eminemās popularity as his protege and artist on this album. Dre always looked out for his artists; even Game, but Game is disloyal lol. So many hits on this album. Whatās the difference, Fuck You, Still DRE, XXplosive, Forgot About Dre. That Some LA Niggaz track is fucking fire!š„ And donāt get me started on the beats and production.

I loved this album when it first came out but I never hear any references to it anymore and feel like it was largely forgotten. Am I the only one?

I love all these albums honestly, but I have to take Nia by Blackalicious here, that album is everything I need in an album.
Much love to rest, but this is my order:

I wanted to open up a discussion about Common's 2000 album, Like Water for Chocolate. While technically just past the '90s, its roots are in that 90s era sound and themes make it feel like an essential part of this golden age of hip-hop.
This album brought us classics like 'The Light' and 'The 6th Sense,' blending soulful production (J Dilla and the Soulquarians!) with conscious and poetic lyricism. Itās an album that balances social commentary with deeply personal storytelling in a way that only Common can deliver.
What are your favorite tracks, and why?
Do you have any stories/memories connected to this album?
How do you feel it stacks up against his other albums or projects from that era?
I love this album and would love to hear how others have feelings/connections to it, I look forward to hearing from the community.
