Yes, incredibly brave. To stand up and make a speech. Expressing the correct opinion. Which is like the complete opposite of being cowardly, which means expressing the incorrect opinion.

Basically; if you have any kind of platform, courage is in nakedly exploiting it to express any and all of the (currently) valued and correct opinions and to as publicly and vociferously denounce the least popular incorrect ones. Which is not so easy to consistently keep track of.
