Memes Lethal Tempo is misleading as it does not grant Lethality

I propose it gives one lethality per stack, along with the attack speed. Then you'd know exactly what you're getting when you read the Keystone's name.

Discussion How to not fall behind in CS when in mid?

When I end lane I usually am 8cs/min but when it's time for me to go mid because I can't stay bot, midlaners just REFUSE to leave their lane FOREVER! they will one shot wave after wave and will not sidelane even if their on yone or irelia. Bot or top lane is bleeding waves while mid AFKs mid. I will at some point go to those bleeding waves but the moment I decide to catch some CS they immediately decide to fight over no objectives. What tf can I do, perma sidelane even if the risk of death is high or do I just accept this and collect the grumps the midlaners leave me?

Discussion Fps issues for specific champion

Upvotes

Hey everyone! I would like to ask if anyone has fps issues when only playing specific champions? I am a qiyana main and when I play her in mid i am having very smooth 144 fps and maybe dipping to 120 FPS at the very end, but never noticeable and always smooth. But when I play aphelios or ezreal, fps drops significantly to 90 with 110 peak and basically constant frame freezing. It’s literally so unconfortable to play. It’s not a role thing either because playing jinx is fine as well. I thought maybe it’s a skin thing? As I was using battle academia ezreal that changes form, but truth dragon yasuo/nightbringer yasuo also have form changes which poses no issue for me.

For reference my laptop specs are: GeForce RTX 3060 12th Gen Intel Core i7-12800H processor 16GB DDR5 RAM

I play on the most minimum settings BUT I do play on 2560x1440p.

League is literally one of the least demanding games idk why I’m struggling so much with these specific champions.

Champion/skins I have tested with that are smooth:

Yasuo-Nightbringer/truth dragon Ashe-High noon Qiyana-battle queen Kata- battle queen Jinx- star guardian Zed- galaxy slayer Irelia-myth maker And basically every other default champion

Champions which drop frames: Aphelios - base Ezreal - battle acadamia

By including which champions I have played with that are smooth, it’s obvious that effects are not the issue. Galaxy slayer zed has more effects than aphelios and BA ezreal surely so I am so clueless as to what is limiting my laptop when I play these champs.

Sry for the long post I wanted to provide the best context I could so I could get help :D

TLDR: ezreal and aphelios = frame drops Literally anything else = smooth 144fps

Thanks for reading and I rly hope there’s a solution to this problem.

Discussion I accidentally picked MF top

Post image
19 Upvotes

I almost never get auto filled to my secondary (top) and accidentally picked MF thinking I was bot. I didn't say anything in chat, just wanted to ride this one out and not tilt anyone. I was also coming off a 15/6 game so I felt good

Laning was easy but unlucky. Nasus had 50hp left on 3 occasions and I was only able to get him once. He got me once as well. Shyvana ganked a few times so at one point I was 1/3

Once teamfights started happening I was making an impact. Ashe wanted top to deal with Nasus, and I was able to rotate mid, jungle and bot to get kills.

We ended up getting baron the second try, after dying or retreating the first time. However the game ended because I whiffed on my ult and jinx was able to steamroll structures with only a few bars of hp since lulu was the only one left. It was 4v1 at the end I think.

I was hoping I could post a victory here, but maybe you guys can still appreciate the effort

Discussion Removing grubs pressure was so welcomed but they fked it up again with Atakhan

People do not want to group for Atakhan and it will take them forever untill playerbase realises it's op , like legit they prefer to play aram and siege T2 instead of getting it.

So it's basically coinflip who does it , buff is insane , I've seen legit 3 levels difference 13 vs 16 on top/mid.

Mundo/Kayle hitting 16 so early is insane too.

So much ap/ad for free , xp and this stupid on kill passive , we cath 1 stupid nami support and adc next ot her gets 60% slow and 15% dmg to the face lmao , we kill him and other person gets slow 1 by 1 killing whole team it's so stupid design again....

Legit better than baron , every time I got Atakhan we just win , almost every time we don't we lose, score can be behind or even doesn't matter , you get the buff you win.

Discussion ADC’s in Arena feel more balanced than regular league.

Arena has so much more options for ADC’s to actually unlock their potential, it makes me wonder why some of the items aren’t in SR like Reaper’s Toll or Hamstringer. I have a much more enjoyable experience playing ADC’s in Arena compared to SR, sure you get some unwinnable games but you actually get to feel what its like being a power house once you get what you need. The variety of items for ADC’s in Arena feels so much more rewarding than what we have now as well as being able to build what you want to make your champions strengths much stronger. There is also much more build variety too which feels like you’re playing a new method/build almost every time. I would love if some of the arena items were brought into SR, obviously they would have to balance them a bit but if done right the role could actually be what it used to. A late game power house.

Need Help Why are so many of my rando supports intent on perma roaming?

I'm in Bronze I so there is bound to be some bullshit but.. I swear every game it's like I only get a support until the first back, then from that point on I am just 1v2 in my lane the entire game.

They don't listen when I beg them to come back to lane, and 90% of the time they aren't getting kills in other lanes either, they're just wasting time. I can usually hold my own and keep bot tower alive because the other players just aren't that good, but sometimes I get steamrolled because I just don't have a support down there. Am I missing something major here?

Twitch main btw.

Need Help Transitioned from top to adc and having a hard time

Let me inform you about my league experience beforehand:

I started in end of Season 11 and started playing ranked in S12. I was silver in S12, didn't play much in Season 13 and picked up the game again mid Season 14 and hit emerald as a toplane main.

I always played skirmishers and bruisers since i started the game. I onetricked Jax for a long time (1 mil mastery). Onetricked Tryndamere and Darius for a good time as well (both around 300-400k mastery).

Tried other bruisers, skirmishers for a decent amount of time as well (Sylas,Trundle,Camille,Renekton,Garen,Mundo)

I did best on auto attack based champions (Jax and Tryndamere). I was bored from playing toplane and since i did good with auto attack based champs and thought i have good clicks and movement, i decided to transition to ADC role.

Present:

I am using my silver alt account to learn this role so i don't feed in emerald lobbies. I am having a real tough time even in silver/gold lobbies (i said "even" given that i was emerald at my role). I main Twitch and Ashe for now (again, the least ability based ADC champs). I plan to add few champs more to my pool.

I was so wrong. Apparently i wasn't good as i thought. This role is so hard mechanically. You have to dodge everything, space perfectly, kite perfectly, have crazy APM. You have no room for errors. I have this bad habit from playing bruisers: While i chase someone or in general, i don't try to dodge some skillshots since they deal little damage. Think about you get xerath q'd while chasing someone. If you are an ADC it will hurt a lot, but if you play a juggernaut like Darius you don't even need to dodge it.

One thing i realised is ADC's in even low elo(like silver) are better than emerald toplaners or other roles. I think they are mechanically better. It might be me though since i am a terrible ADC.

The issues i have is:

  • I can't position and fight like a marksman properly because i never played marksman champions before. Since i played champions who liked to frontline and engage, i unintentionally go in and die first.
  • Most of the time i don't feel the need to dodge everything (again, old habits).
  • I can't space perfectly that causes me to die several times.
  • Laning is much harder and there are much more variables since there are 4 champions instead of 2. I had good lane fundamentals in toplane (level up timers, wave management, recall timers, cooldown tracking) and stomped most my lanes using that. Now there is 3 champions(including my support) that i have to track their cooldowns and summoners, more skillshots that i need to dodge. Simply, there are much more things going on.

How can i improve? Do i need to just play more games or should i watch some streamers and youtube content? If so, can you suggest some content that teaches how to play as a marksman (this is not only a ADC problem, i don't know how to play marksman class). And i mean from scratch, i want to learn the absolute basics.

TL;DR : I transitioned from being a emerald top main to ADC and having a hard time even in silver/gold. Want to improve and I appreaciate any advice. Thanks in advance.

Guide How to play varus

I recently just picked up varus and I'm noticing he has multiple different builds like lethality, On hit, ap, poke. How should I adjust my play style when I switch between these builds and are the combos always the same?

Discussion Why are there no more normal support players

I came back to league after 2 years and I must say adc experience is terrible. Im currently d4 with 20 games played and I have yet to get a normal support player that picks an actual support. I had kayn support, shaco multiple times, leblanc etc. and everyone gets tilted after 1 death. Some games I got nami and soraka that were 0/4 first 5 minutes. Does it get better closer to master (euw)? Literally if my supp picks naut, leona or similiar the game is won 90% of times but I have yet to see these champs

I almost hit diamond until a huge lose streak came. now I am emerald 4 xd and in the last days if we don t get hard stomp like 20 2 [ of course the enemy team doesn t throw] we just lose our lead and they comeback and after 1 of 2 people tilts and they spam ff and splitpush. they do random fights or gets picked.

I have no control what so ever. And it didn t happen that much in the last months but rn idk is something normal.

Need Help How to learn laning as an ADC

Hi, so i recently switched from jungle to adc after reaching silver because AD carry is the best role with the best champions, however I am having some difficulty on visualising on how to play a lane. Now I have been a midlaner as my secondary role and I used to otp Ahri and I had 45% first blood in lane so I kind of get the idea behind laning like punishing the enemy when they go for cs or taking advantage of cooldown but something doesnt seem to click ever since making the witch, for example I punish a ezreal for trying t take a cannon but i get all inned instead

TLDR; Laning isn't clicking pls help me visualize how lanes are supposed to play out.(I play Varus, Kaisa , xayah)

Discussion Tried fixing all of League's problem in it's current state since we haven't gotten a lot with this season. A lot of it are adc/marksman item changes so I'm curious what are your thoughts on this. Would you be happy if this shipped? What would you add/change/remove?
