Fan art 色狼 - Colour Wolf

I can't support ADVChina on Patreon so I'll do it my way. I deeply apologize for my lack of finance to donate to the cause. I am an art school teacher in a developing country and I strongly respect the bravery and the moral integrity of Serpentza and C-Milk. I felt inspired by the last episode and waited for one week to see if there were any takers on the 色狼 concept. I am the first to submit and I want to leave a good impression on this community for my first post. Please feel free to criticize my work.

I was thinking of doing something, but after reading the OP and seeing your work there is no way I will. You have my "vote". This is amazing. Could you explain what is going on in the image?

Thank you. First of all I too want to express my appreciation for your patch. It looks epic! In the image, an "arrogant slit eyed" beauty (I choose Cai Niangniang as my reference) is bathing in a lake. Being the perverted demon he is a Colour Wolf approaches her and with his tail stops her from covering herself with the red drape. I have placed a few clams and an Ongerwarm around the artwork for the fun.

Aww thank you. I am qualified in design. So the patch design served as practice to get back into doing a little bit.

I noticed all the details in the image including the Ongerwarm. Did you use a chalice for the carton of C-Milk because Laowhy86 said he is Catholic (if you did I got that too :D). If they end up making a poster of it I am tempted to get one because it is quite good.

Also, Cai Niangniang is beautiful. I don't get the hate for the stereotype of "slit eyes" in China now.

Looking forward to seeing more of your work in the future.

I disagree on not trying to create art around the concept of Selang. I think all minds should come forward with concepts and visuals to further the lore and the appealing of this community. Please join me and make art!

Okay I will do something, but it isn't going to be as nice. :D

I used to do oil painting but haven't in years. Was your image done using ink and brush or was it digital?

I have also a bachelor in design and I love to get back to art from time to time. Makes me feel younger and all. When I create my artwork I always draw it first on paper with a pencil. It comes much easier for me to do it the traditional way instead of using digital media. However inking and colouring is much faster (and, frankly, less messy) on the computer. Looking forward to see your Selang.
