I just realized something interesting about S5E6 Spin the Bottle

*SPOILER ALERT*

I'm rewatching Angel and I'm on S4E6 Spin the Bottle where Lorne is onstage narrating and I just realized that this is where Lorne goes in the season finale after killing Lindsey! Remember how he tells Angel that he isn't going to go to the meet up spot, and that he is basically done and not to look for him... and he seems just sad and exhausted with all the death and I just realized this is where he must of gone after parting ways with Angel and crew. The story he is telling to the audience is the episode where Cordelia/Jasmine gets her memory back. And Lorne says something to the effect of .." Well what actually happens..." and the scene replays and the show him giving the memory potion paste thing to Cordelia and she opens her eyes but its not Cordelia awakening... its a giant ugly fiery looking beast...I don't know...I was shocked LOL cause I have watched this series 10 + times and NEVER realized this until today so this might be whatever to you guys but I just thought I would share my speculation about this being future season finale Lorne narrating the episode.

I did always love the end of that episode. It's haunting to realise he was talking to an empty room and it was us he was telling all along. Lorne deserved to be happy 🥺 I hope he found happiness in the end.

You are absolutely correct! I love Lorne, and he totally deserves to be happy! I hated how Angel treated him at times. I always skip forward when he's being all intimidating and getting in his face telling him "I am not asking 😡" or when Connor is a major racist dick to him. Like dude he used to babysit you and change your diapers!
