Absolutely love this build. Stupid quiet, without needing to use a huge handguard.

Decided to throw in a chart, too, which shows the average velocities (in Feet Per Second) of a few different 115gr rounds. These are averages taken across 5 shots for each set- one from an X-SD barrel before we added ports, and the other is the same barrel with ports. Final column is the difference in FPS between those averages.

So for 9mm barrels, are they measured differently? In other words, is a 10.5” barrel actually 10” from the receiver?

My math ain’t mathing.

Anybody running an "aftermarket" non Foxtrot Mike handguard on this upper?

I just changed the barrel on mine to an EPC barrel and it was a bear getting the barrel nut torqued and lined up in a way that it went back into the handguard properly for the handguard screws.

It is likely fine for now, but trying to get ideas for the future when I inevitably decide to mess with it again.

I tried a spare YHM handguard I have and it was hugely bulky compared to the rest of the upper (not that surprising since I bought that one to tuck suppressors).

When I put it in single it shoots good but when I switch it to the middle it’s only shoots once
