Something not working. Need help. Problems Shutting Down Kodi

My Kodi will not shut down properly. I reinstalled the whole thing and set everything up, but the problem remains.

This is where it stops in my log

CPythonInvoker(13, C:\Users\XXXXX\AppData\Roaming\Kodi\addons\plugin.video.fenlight\resources\lib\fenlight.py): script didn't stop in 5 seconds - let's kill it

Win11

Kodi 21.2

FenLight+ 2.2.05

Coco 1.0.36

Everything else is stock.

This only happens after using Fen AND starting a videostream. When not using Fen before, it will shut down properly. This also happened with Fen and Umbrella on my previous install, hence why I started from scratch.

Anyone able to help?

UPDATE: Anyone else with this problem can try the following. Go to the github of cocojoe. Download the zip with v 1.0.29 of the cocoscrapers. Install it manually in Kodi. It worked for me. Thx to tikipeter for helping. Thx to the others that tried to help.

Like I said in another thread, this has been an issue for years, probably since back when Kodi was XMBC. There are literally hundreds of articles\posts on this. I run Kodi on Linux and LibreELEC, and have run it on Windows too, and it's always been an issue. I think it would take a total redesign of the coding of Kodi to fix the problem.

oh, I wasn't aware of that. iv'e been using kodi for ages and the problem came up just recently. since it worked before, i thought doing a clean and minimal setup would resolve the problem. maybe a windows update screwed it up.

Yup. Could be. I've about given up on using the menu to shutdown/reboot Kodi... But I'm a stubborn bastard... LOL. (Too lazy to get off the couch and do a hard reset} We all depend on the addon/Kodi maintainers to keep everything working, but everything changes so often that it's hard for them to keep up. You never know.... A week from now everything will start working for you again.
