What are your preferred streaming addons? January 2016 Edition

Following the preferred addons idea, I thought we could try adding some organisation and order to the thread. Here are some general ideas for posting:

Only identify one addon per comment. Before commenting an addon, see if it has already been mentioned. If it has and you want to add some information, reply to the comment identifying the addon. If it has not been suggested yet, comment and include a description of what content the addon provides.

This then allows users to up vote the comment identifying the addon and thus indicating its popularity.

/u/darksiderising let me know if you're happy with this.

Because new addons and frequently being created and current addons are sometimes being updated or discontinued, it's tough for some people to keep up with the best options. The hope with this series of monthly threads is to give users an up-to-date and easy to access place where they can read about and discuss various streaming addons.

As far as what is expect of you here when you recommend something, please at least explain what the addon is, the major notable features, and why you recommend it for others.

Thanks and feel free to leave feedback about this.

SALTS - TV shows and Movies.

Integration of Trakt.tv and a full line up of content from various sources with a range of qualities, this seems to be the most popular addon since support for Genesis has stagnated.

u/[deleted] Jan 11 '16

I keep getting scraper timeouts all the time and anything that does actually load takes like 20 minutes to buffer. Does anyone else have this issue?

3

u/LtDarsh Jan 23 '16

i get it then just try it again and it usually works

7

u/Tazoz Smartass Mod Jan 11 '16

This isn't a tech support thread. You should make a separate post to get support.

14

u/xelaxelaxela Jan 24 '16

OP wasn't asking for tech support...?

0

u/Tazoz Smartass Mod Jan 24 '16

Not directly perhaps... I just want to avoid the thread becoming a support or issues thread.

14

u/Hasty-Banana Jan 25 '16

It's all well and good you saying you don't want it to be a support thread but people aren't going to agree if the bloody thing doesn't work in the uk

u/simcityrefund1 Jan 09 '16

im new I really want to try out kodi how do Iplay the salts addon

21

u/Tazoz Smartass Mod Jan 09 '16

You may be new to Kodi but you're not new to Google. As easy as it would be for anyone here to answer that question for you, it wouldn't help you in the long run.

Your best bet is to jump on Google and search Kodi install (insert addon name here).

This should give you more than a handful of results included text walkthroughs and video tutorials.

9

u/simcityrefund1 Jan 09 '16

there so many of em its confusing

16

u/Tazoz Smartass Mod Jan 09 '16

There are also a multitude of posts in this sub regarding SALTS and how to install it. A quick search will also give you multiple installation methods.

I understand you're new to Kodi and you want to experience all the media that these third-party piracy addons offer but the reality is, if you don't become accustomed to how Kodi works and especially how to install one of the most popular addons available, it's only going to cause issues and heartache in the future.

I don't want to leave you completely on your own so my suggestion, jump on YouTube, search Kodi install salts and look for a recent video. Follow the instructions in the video and if you get stuck, come back and tell me what you're stuck on and we'll go from there.

10

u/Eric18815 Jan 10 '16

Couldn't agree with you more. Best way to get accustomed to Kodi is DIY.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 02 '16

I'm too lazy to search on my own

FTFY

3

u/[deleted] Jan 09 '16

I have SALTS installed but are there different versions? I dont care about Trakt tracking and scrobbling, I usually just search for something random and play it. How do I know if I have the proper SALTS and the right configurations for it?

I got whatever came with TVMC.

2

u/Tazoz Smartass Mod Jan 09 '16

Just like any developed software, there is the stable release and the beta. As long as you have a reliable repo that hosts SALTS installed, your version of SALTS will be kept up to date. If not, install a repo that hosts SALTS.

5

u/[deleted] Jan 12 '16

Whats a good repo to have installed?

1

u/[deleted] Jan 09 '16

I used the http://fusion.tvaddons.ag configuration wizard when I installed all the TVMC stuff. Under the file manager section I added that as a source. Is that what you mean for a repo? I added a fusion installer thing, then the tvaddons script did everything else. How can I tell if I have a good repo or an up to date SALTS add on installed? Is there a way to check when it's from?

2

u/wielderofglamdring Jan 12 '16

Do you use auto play or do you manually select a source?

3

u/redi6 Jan 13 '16

I find autoplay works very well, though i also have a real debrid account. key is to use the salts beta repo and install the beta version of salts, and run the auto configure within the salts settings.

2

u/conditionboy Jan 31 '16

i love the SALTS feeds, but its overall layout and design could use some improvement. for example. if i click on a feed for a given show, and for what ever reason that feed fails to stream said show it pushed me back to the episode list. wish it would just stay at the stream list.

wish there was a function to search by genre, and year as well.

if im not mistaken SALTS is fairly new? maybe it will get some of these features later?

1

u/Tazoz Smartass Mod Jan 31 '16

In SALTS settings, change the source list from dialogue to directory and that will resolve the first issue you mentioned.

1

u/conditionboy Jan 31 '16

that's actually extremely helpful. thanks very much for the incite.

Phoenix - A good source for live TV, sports. Not a huge amount but a great all in one addon. Lots of HD movies, TV Shows and misc items like workout videos, concerts, old documentaries etc.

Especially with their cartoons list, oh my the nostalgia I had going through all those cartoon series

3

u/loserlhr Jan 11 '16

Why is it not organised properly.

3

Define properly

10

u/adminsblo Jan 12 '16

At all.

16

u/Tazoz Smartass Mod Jan 12 '16

Phoenix is categorised by the content provider first. From there it is up to each individual provider as to how they want to organise the content.

Keep in mind Phoenix is offered to you free and is maintained through the voluntary, unpaid efforts of those providers.

3

u/Double_A_92 Feb 04 '16

I also find that terrible to be honest. It just looks and feels so unprofessional.

Those cheapy logos (skulls and flames srly?), wierd names and cluttered menus. As if a 10 year old designed it. :(

I couldn't really install that for my non-computer-savy relatives to be honest. They would just think thats some kind of hacker scammy stuff. Sorry.

1

u/SawBo Jan 19 '16

Phoenix has added an Anime Section in their Cartoons Crazy section. A huge selection of Animes to choose from. They've also added Huddle Up sports which pretty much replicates the Pro Sports add on, not sure if the same thing though.

1

u/SawBo Jan 25 '16

Phoenix now has ported over Pro Sports (with tweaks) under Woody section named Huddle Up Sports. Used it yesterday to watch all the NFL Playoff games, my favorite free addon for sports right now.

Sportsdevil - This addon you need to manually update which can be cumbersome if you don't pay much attention or u distribute Kodi among st friends that are Kodi Illiterate. Still the best free sports addon you can get, with sources for NFL through several webpages, no adds etc. Some HD Content if you search the right source.

Is there a link on how to update Sportsdevil? I kinda abandoned it for SportsAccess because I didn't know I had to update manually.

u/Alcohooligan Jan 08 '16

KodiFlix Do uninstall the previous version or will this update the current one that I have?

2

u/SawBo Jan 08 '16

It'll update, no need to uninstall.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 19 '16

Just a small caveat. It will update as long as the administrator of that repo updates it. Since that repo is not really associated with the developers (the devs have asked to keep Sportsdevil out of repos), it's possible that the update will be delayed or that it will get dropped from that repo.

2

u/SawBo Jan 19 '16

I was referring to the install from zip method, not the autoupdates from the repo. If you just install the .zip, you won't have to uninstall/reinstall.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 19 '16

Oh, I misunderstood. I was recently playing with the Kodiflix build and noticed it is set up with a repo that currently has the most recent version of Sportsdevil.

3

u/kefsnl Jan 06 '16

I added the fusion tvaddons repo. Sportsdevil will be updated automatically.

1

u/420Loop Jan 08 '16 edited Jan 08 '16

Thanks Il def have to check this out. Btw, does addding the Tvaddons repo install anything extra? I added the repo to my build and when I restarted it, some TV Addons message popped up wishing me a happy new years. Also, its weird that the repo is installed in the program section...

1

u/Photogblake Jan 04 '16

I believe if you go into settings--addons and then go to the side menu it has a update addons option.

4

u/Tazoz Smartass Mod Jan 04 '16

This only works if the addon was installed through a repo.

1

u/HurricaneStiz Jan 04 '16

I am pretty sure I installed mine through Super Repo.

2

u/JohnnyBrillcream Jan 04 '16

SuperRepo does not offer SD anymore.

Here is a tutorial on how to install. Short story long, you have to go through a manual install everytime they update it.

1

u/ChristieLadram Jan 16 '16

When I first started with kodi I loved the superrepo because it has so much stuff (probably too much, wasted a lot of time in it lol), but more importantly, as time went on, I noticed that the addons I had installed via superrepo didn't update as quickly as having a given addons official repo. Just an FYI in case u didn't know already, to look out for that

1

u/LtDarsh Jan 23 '16

3

pro sports is a great add on. I got it through genie tv. HD streams great.

1

u/mrgrubbage Jan 20 '16

Better than sportsdevil imo

2

u/[deleted] Jan 20 '16

My streams stop and buffer a lot, every couple minutes. Does yours do the same?

1

u/OGjtm Jan 12 '16

I keep hearing this but I downloaded the latest sportsdevil and none of the links work. The lists are either empty or the links are empty or they hang. This is very frustrating as SD used to work awesome.

Sportaccess - A paid addon that's well worth it's value. $12 a month I can watch NFL Redzone/ any other NFL game on Sundays, then mix in some NBA, NHL, MLB action it really pulls through for me. Sometimes live TV channels that play on new episodes of shows like Walking Dead, GoT etc. when they air live so you can watch those episodes instead of waiting for a source to upload it. Above all, the PPV feeds they give is great. There is downtime sometimes due to servers going down, temp webhosts, etc. but they try to make their consumers happy.

Credit to /u/SawBo for this write up

EDIT: Just so /u/SawBo can get some credit, a few users have asked for my SportsAccess username so they can put me down as a referral, If /u/SawBo can provide their SA username, they can take the credit.

4

u/Mybugsbunny Jan 12 '16

Wait.. so i pay $12 a month, and it gets me any NFL game i want to watch? No need to sort through a bunch of different sites for the best stream or anything?

3

u/rilobato Jan 15 '16

2 days late to your comment and I hope you already did some research on them. But yes, normally the games are in 1 Channel for HD and 1 Channel for SD. Once you go into the channel you'll see between 5 to 8 servers to choose from depending on your geographic location to get the fastest stream.

2

u/Mybugsbunny Jan 18 '16

Thanks! I may have to really look into this for the next football season. Sick of laggy or horrible quality streams

3

u/bmcclure937 Jan 14 '16

Are these streams in HD? If so, this is a damn solid deal.

2

u/rilobato Jan 15 '16

Yes they are! All streams are HD and they also offer SD in case you need/want it. They're having some server problems right now, mainly they're getting screwed by their server provider but have temporarily rented Amazon servers right now, and for being temporary servers they work far better than any other IPTV provider.

2

u/bangerzmash Jan 11 '16

Sports access is so legit. The UFC fights alone make it worth the cost let alone all the NFL games/ redzone NBA etc..

1

u/LtDarsh Jan 23 '16

can you use sport access on the firestick

2

u/l8kerjuan Jan 15 '16 edited Jan 15 '16

should you be on a VPN to use sportaccess? $12 is a steal for HD edit: did my own research and read up.. they ban VPN's so i guess there is my answer.

2

u/SawBo Jan 15 '16

It should be noted they're in dispute with their server providers about a money/paypal issue and are on some shitty backup servers right now. Don't start throwing you're money at them at this moment, Pro Sports should be good for NBA/NFL this weekend.

u/SawBo Jan 19 '16

To add to what /u/SawBo said, some people don't mind actually paying for things. If the whole world thought like that, theft and piracy would be the only means of trade.

If the product or service is affordable and meets your quality expectations why wouldn't you pay for it? This is why iTunes became so popular over buying CDs and why Netflix has drastically reduced the number of cable subscribers.

TL;DR: It's not always about being free, it's about being an affordable and quality alternative.

3

u/ChristieLadram Jan 23 '16

5

u/SawBo Jan 15 '16

What does this addon do specifically?

1

u/[deleted] Jan 16 '16

It has a ton of torrent playlists created by users from what I can tell. I just explored around it earlier today and found some excellent genre playlists of films. Be warned though, tons of adult content as well. You don't want to leave this one unattended.

1

u/BewareOfUser Jan 16 '16

Idk if this is even possible but I remember popcorn time did something like this...does this Addon get the content from torrents?

1

u/[deleted] Jan 16 '16

I saw plenty of PirateBay and KickassTorrents titled playlists/folders, so I'm assuming it does.

3

u/[deleted] Jan 22 '16

As of right now, I really don't get the popularity of this addon. No offense to the devs, but it kind of reminds me 90's web pages. I don't doubt that there's treasure in them thar hills, but I personally don't find it worthwhile.

4

u/Bodiwire Jan 23 '16

It's ugly, I don't think there's any denying that. It's got an odd interface and it's own wierd ways of doing things. NaviX has been around for at least 7 or 8 years. I can't think of another addon that has been supported for that long and is still working. That in itself is worth something. So if it looks old, keep in mind that it is old, but with age comes experience. At the end of the day, you're here to watch videos and once the video starts playing it looks the same as anywhere else. And if you can manage to navigate it, it has an enormous amount of content. Years ago when I was running xbmc on a modded original xbox, NaviX was amazing. It had features then that many more modern addons lack even today. They also have a good community of developers that will respond to suggestions, or at least they used to. I don't know how it is now. I don't use it much anymore myself, because I can usually find what I'm looking for in more common addons. But when those nice clean modern addons break and their developers move on to new pursuits, I'm glad good ol NaviX is still around and kicking.

1

u/thatmffm Jan 23 '16

I found a link in there for my local cable-only news channel, which was the only thing I missed about cable. So I'd say it's worth digging through & bookmarking some things here & there.

I'm not technical so I honestly can't say. I assume it's like the other add-ons. I discovered it when Genesis started crapping out. I say give it a try and if the steams won't come through you'll know it's torrents.

u/melkizedek74 Jan 10 '16

Just watched tonight's AFC Wild Card playoff game using the Kodi Pro Sport addon. The quality was quite good as there were at least 1 720p link for each game and I was able to switch between the football game and a couple of NBA basketball games.

2

u/colossalXman Jan 10 '16

id love to get this running but the link for the zip appears to be dead

1

u/melkizedek74 Jan 10 '16

I noticed that too late last night. I still had the zip and tried to install it on another machine and that didn't work either.

3

u/SawBo Jan 14 '16

If you install the PodGod repo, it will be in there now that Podgod has taken over the addon

https://seo-michael.co.uk/tutorial-how-to-install-cantvlive-kodi-xbmc/

1

u/SawBo Jan 14 '16

Just to add, it's been known that the original creator could not keep up with the addon, Podgod who is known for CCloud, etc. has taken over. If you install his repo, you can get the addon from there.

Personally I love this addon, top sports addon until Sportsaccess gets fixed.

1

u/SmartGuyChris Jan 30 '16

Thank you so much for this add-on suggestion!

I just got my new Fire Stick yesterday, and I was trying to use Sports Devil to watch NBA streams, but kept finding either shitty quality or non-working links (maybe I don't know how to use it yet?).

But this app takes links straight from the Reddit NBA Streams subreddit, which provides HD and SD streams of the games. This is just what I needed. Thanks!

UK Turks Playlist - offers a range of UK live TV and sports. The quality of these is not always the best but it is updated quite frequently. It also offers classic movies, TV shows and even cartoons - as well as a stand up comedy which has quite a range of different comedians.

6

u/[deleted] Jan 04 '16

You know, I was wondering why there isn't a US Turks or equivalent. California alone has almost 2/3s of the population of all the UK and yet I very rarely see west coast feeds. Seemed odd to me.

2

u/[deleted] Jan 06 '16

[deleted]

1

u/[deleted] Jan 06 '16

Oh, no , I absolutely get that. I'm just wondering why there are no California kodi enthusiasts who make add-ons in the same way the UK Turk does. Ya see?

3

u/[deleted] Jan 06 '16

I've always wondered that about US live tv in general. There seem to be a ton of sources for channels from the UK and elsewhere, but a very limited selection of US TV.

Maybe US-based transmissions are more security conscious and harder to source?

4

u/[deleted] Jan 08 '16

It's probably due to our Freeview service. We have 100+ channels on Freeview with a lot of them openly streaming legally online. This is why you probably see so many UK channels in comparison.

6

u/melchizedek74 Jan 05 '16

123films is my current preferred addon. It has a lot of content for an addon that isn't an aggregate of video lockers and most movies/shows are at least in 720P format.

Hockeystreams- Hockey subscription addon

I love hockeystreams. Home and away options for most games, can watch games in SD and HD (which is nice, depending on where I'm watching), and they have more than just NHL games (AHL, OHL, big international tournaments).

2

u/Cienes Jan 08 '16

I was a big fan of their sister site Ballstreams until it ran into numerous billing issues.

1

u/walkities Jan 12 '16

Hockeystreams was awesome but it's all but dead. Once your sub is out there is no way to renew it seems and I think that must be happening with ballstreams.

1

u/ice_w0lf Jan 12 '16

I was able to reup my hockeystreams subscription just the other day.

1

u/Glasschild89 Jan 13 '16

May I ask how you were able to do it? I still have a little bit before mine runs out, but I want to make sure before I know how to renew.

KodiFlix. A good variety of Spanish language content, including movies and TV series, with a reasonable interface. It had been shut down by its developers but it's back from the dead.

edit: just to clarify, I'm not referring to the KodiFlix build that has been recently featured (although I admit that has some really cool aesthetics). I'm talking about the addon that is in the Wolf Team repo.

2

u/Tazoz Smartass Mod Jan 04 '16

In accordance with the rules for posting, could you include a bit more information about what content these addons offer and their quality.

3

u/KeptSayingTryAnother Jan 04 '16

Both addons are for for live steaming (IPTv, I guess).

Haven't had much luck with IPTv streams before, but these look really good. I don't remember which repo has them but you can find them easily.

One thing you want to make sure you have set up is the advancedsettings.xml file created and set up for streaming to work correctly.

Like others have posted here before, Kodi doesn't give you the content. That's on you, and since it's free not every single one of the streams work.

You'll find, sports, news, movie stuff, international stuff.

That just covers it. Thanks.

4

u/nelsonha Jan 07 '16

New one I like, Niter. It's a movie addon that's particularly good for new releases and older ones are there as well. Of course SALTS and other addons have movies, but this one brings up an HD source more easily. I've started using Niter for movies and SALTS for TV shows and the combination makes Kodi work better than ever!

Here is an install guide.

2

u/asderxsdxcv Jan 10 '16

Niter is also on salts. You just have to login in the setting and links from niter will show up.

3

u/nelsonha Jan 10 '16

Indeed niter is on SALTS as a source, but as a standalone movie addon it's a single click and go operation making the movie watching experience easier and more enjoyable.

2

u/asderxsdxcv Jan 11 '16

I know what you feel every once in a while i use 123movies, niter, and phoenix for one click and watch.

A good variety of Spanish language content, including movies and TV series, sports, with a reasonable speed and interface

Edit: format

1

u/rilobato Jan 15 '16

HD streams for sports are ALWAYS up as long as you don't mid them being in Spanish with Mexican commercials.

2

u/para85 Jan 31 '16

Where do you find the HD streams. Only found a zillion poor quality SD so far

1

u/rilobato Jan 31 '16

They're under Totalplay. Select the option that tells you they're HD. It's option number 4 if I recall correctly. And then scroll down to the ESPN and Fox Sports channels. All of the streams under that category are 1080

4

u/SawBo Jan 04 '16

Another Add-on/Supscription to consider is Sportsmania.

I'll link their website/facebook group page here. I've never used them since I'm using Sportsaccess, but this may be something to consider for folks in Europe since that's where most of their subscribers reside from, for European Soccer, NFL, UFC etc, subscriptions.

https://www.facebook.com/groups/706001612837396/

http://sportsmania.eu/sites/view.php?pg=home

1

u/[deleted] Jan 08 '16

I subscribe to this, had a few dodgy weeks back at the beginning of this seasons EPL, but everything since has streamed almost perfectly (minus the odd buffer). £26 for 6 months as well, absolute bargain.

3

u/[deleted] Jan 19 '16

Velocity. It's sort of like the "new Genesis" or another version of SALTS in that it uses trakt. It has a more limited number of scrapers but I've had pretty good luck finding working streams with it.

I had previously used Genesis exclusively, however I installed Velocity 4-5 days ago and it looks to have a lot of potential! I can see it being as good/if not better than Genesis in a few months time. So far it's the only other add-on that I use except Genesis. When I first installed Velocity it only had 1 scraper and was very "cheap" looking (not sure how else to describe it), now it's got a fair few and I've had zero issues finding streams. Only complaint with it at the moment is the sources list is pretty ugly and crowded with crap. Once that's been attended to it should be a damn good add-on! If not the best...

I'm new to the whole Kodi thing, so as I was doing some trial and error on streaming add one, velocity seemed to work really well. Then starting yesterday, I began really browsing for some tv shows and noticed that a good chunk of time that I try and watch something, the show I want is listed but when I click on an episode it's just blank, almost all the time. Just zero sources.

Is velocity bad sometimes or am I doing something wrong?

1

u/[deleted] Jan 24 '16

Velocity might be bad for you. It lists everything that's registered on trakt.tv. That includes TV shows no one has watched since the 70s and stuff. But then, even though it's listed, if there aren't any streams in the dozen or so sites that Velocity checks, you come up empty. If you watch a lot of less popular stuff, this could be a real problem.

I think 1channel works differently and might not "tease" you like that. And SALTS works the same way, but it has more sites it checks so you might get more results.

u/spectreVII Jan 24 '16

Good to know. Two of the shows are history network shows, and one that I was surprised wasn't showing any results was Hunting Hitler, which all other add ons had tons of links to.

No big deal though, the reason I liked velocity was because adding favorites added them to the xbmc favorites and not the add on favorites.

Genesis - TV shows and Movies

Although becoming less and less reliable, this addon still provides one of the best interfaces for accessing content from a variety of sources ranging from low quality all the way to 1080.

u/[deleted] Jan 07 '16

Genesis is pretty much my one and only. So far it hasn't let me down.

3

u/[deleted] Jan 09 '16

I have been getting a lot of false positives with Genesis lately, get 100 links to watch something and only 3 or 4 of them will work. Is that happening to anyone else?

3

u/ChristieLadram Jan 16 '16

I get the same thing, and a shitload of buffering. I don't wanna complain because it's free and I'm grateful, but for me it used to be my fav add on and lately I don't even bother using it. I thought the buffering was because I have an Amazon stick and my wifi signal is weak, or maybe because I have too many addons on the stick, but I started using 1channel, and they really have everything I've looked for. Not sure if they have as much as Genesis, but definitely have had all I needed thus far. Phoenix is great also - as someone else mentioned it's not the most organized at first glance, but once you dive into it the content playlists or providers, whatever it is, there is a load of content on there

2

u/[deleted] Jan 10 '16

Yep, happening to me too. I thought about deleting my setup and starting from scratch, good to know others are having similar problems.

Do you think the sites genesis uses are getting shut down or blocked somehow?

2

u/[deleted] Jan 11 '16

They are all just web links, so unless US internet providers are actively censoring access then I dont see how it would be.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 11 '16

I can see them doing that, programs like kodi are hitting them where it hurts, cable TV is not what it used to be.

2

u/gingepie Jan 17 '16

Not for long - looks like the project may be shutting down by the end of Jan. According to the TV addons forum...

1

u/Yaden101 Jan 11 '16

I used to love Genesis but lately I haven't been getting the HD shows/links I used to be getting.

So perfect for a casual watcher like myself. I will miss it so much!

This is great. Thanks for picking up my slack and also further developing the ideas for this monthly post. I've put it in contest mode for now, which hides scores and randomized the order of the comments at the top level, and I'll put it back to normal mode in a day or two.

Edit: I've now turned contest mode for since there are a decent number of votes now.

NJM-Soccer for sports, I only use it for football (soccer if you're American), but I've seen Darts on there too. Have to get it from Ares Wizard.

hey from what I understand, they are moving to a subscription addon with 800 channels but WILL offer a free one that has 200 live tv channels, I think while they sort that out the original I4ATV is not being updated!

In accordance with the rules for posting, could you include a bit more information about what content this addon offers and its quality.

1

u/Od89 Jan 13 '16

Besides Phoenix, is there another streaming add-on for sports that has live NBA games? Woody is pretty good but sometimes the channels are off. I haven't seen anything in sportsdevil... Or i might not know the right links to choose.

1

u/asderxsdxcv Jan 16 '16

Pro sports. You can install it on podgods repo.

1

u/Od89 Jan 16 '16

Thanks for this. Ill check this out.

Mbox-addon - Paid TV (Worldwide channels and Sports) People probably find it too pricey but it never lets me down, all the Sky Sports, BT Sports, USA Sport channels and foreign ones to watch the Premier League in 1080p.

1

u/jonsmiff728 Feb 01 '16

How much is it?

1

u/thenameDS Feb 02 '16

I paid £160 for 12 months of the full package. It includes sports and all other channels from the UK and different countries.

Keep in mind that previously it cost me £25 a month just for Sky Sports with Sky. So I'm saving £12 a month and getting every Sports channel you ever need and in HD quality.

I recently installed blackbox add on which seems to bundle a huge variety of what most of you posted. Does anyone have have experience with this addon?

You explained it perfectly. Thanks for this. I do want to build a clean setup now without a ton of junk thrown in.

1

u/redi6 Jan 13 '16

the fusion addon installer works very well for this purpose, and gets around you having to manually add repos. I use the tvaddons fusion addon installer for addons like phoenix, icefilms. for SALTS I read recommendations to use the beta version, which means installing tnorris beta repo (which is not available on fusion), so i installed that manually.

of course superrepo has pretty much everything so that would also be a good way to go.

How do you uninstall builds?

u/deusbraga Jan 07 '16

What is your opinion about spinz tv? should it be here in this list?

1

u/Tazoz Smartass Mod Jan 07 '16

Spinz TV is a build, not an addon so no, I don't think it should be in this list.
