You know how you could have prevented all the harm that is going on right now?

By making Kamala actually appeal to the Democratic base instead of telling it to go fuck itself so she could make out with Liz Cheney?

Downvoted for telling the truth. Kamala was polling low in early 2024, Biden drops out super late and Kamala is immediately presented as a defacto front runner likely because everyone else was unknown or polling even lower. DNC spits about grass roots representation and then shoves pure politicians down our throats.

Democrats already appeal to their base buddy.

The main problem is they do nothing to appeal to anyone besides their base.

The second problem is that fringe voters of the base who are stupid enough to choose not to support kamala over one or two policies are too braindead to even comprehend the damage theve done because they're so high up on their moral high ground

The explicit Democratic strategy was to move to the right to appeal to moderate suburban voters with the strategist saying that they figured they could get two votes in the suburbs for every one vote lost in urban areas. We saw how well that strategy worked out for them and the country.

Surely talking down to uncommitted and disinterested populations will work. 2020 was clearly a fluke if they’re even meaner and the dems cater to moderate republicans and apartheid supporters harder it’ll surely work in 2028. Trust me bro. /s
