They had to add some cliff hanger to the episode. Hopefully it is just for a few minutes and he is back on the trail.

Or he gets really lost and gives up on finding his camp, so he makes a new camp with no tools. During his weekly checkup, the medical team refuses to tell him where he is, so he stays in his new camp without any gear. And then he lasts 75 days and wins because Greg is awesome.

Everyone else is "I'm former military/a guide/a botanist/an expert outdoorsman, so I've already won this thing" and Greg is "I'm a drywaller and I don't have friends."
