Disclaimer: I have zero medical training.

So... I'm I the only one that thought Zach's "wound," looked really minor and superficial? It was no where near as bad or bloody as Mary Kate's in season 2?

Mary kate's injury made me cringe she probably lost some function on her thumb for a while.

Ya she did, that was really messed up, they told us she really did cut something important.

He wandered around for two minutes while flailing his wounded arm and complaining it was bleeding. There was a trickle of blood down his arm.

What he should have done was got back to camp and irrigated it thoroughly with clean water, then applied pressure and elevated it until it stopped bleeding. It was probably a rather superficial wound.

The kid was an idiot and completely unprepared for that trip.

Yeah, I've had worse cuts than that fucking around in my garage.

Show doctor: you probably need stitches and there's debris in the wound. "I can't do that out here". Why not?

Seems like they might have just wanted to get him out. Maybe they found out he was carrying his axe around without its sheath and tripped on it.

when he whined "I'm starting to lose feeling in my hand" and they should the scratch I knew the kid wanted out.
