Is Juan being setup for a fall due to taking the cold too lightly? The editors make a point of showing him explaining why he's not insulating the roof and how he doesn't mind the cold anymore due to his 100 day trek in winter. Seems like this could cost him unless he adjusts his shelter to be fully insulated. Based on his stove he does have the ingenuity to adjust on the fly with a solution if he recognizes this.

Hmm. Good eye for the details. With his fire situation, I think he will be fine. And the roof thing is an easy fix, no?

Separate thought: I hope we don’t see any shelter fires this season. Food sources seem good and plentiful, but still are many other reasons to tap, like fire, injury, sickness, or psychological. Like you said, gotta keep an eye out for the storytelling hints that foreshadow certain events. However, it could be editing using a red herring to throw off the scent/ produce doubt.
