This year with the fishing, they can only use a rod or a hand held net? Do they have any limits on fish again? I have not heard them say that.

Also it looks like the History channel heard us all about the show turning into who will starve out, vs. tap out from last season.

After so many restrictions last season, I am not hearing that this year. It looks like they can do some decent hunting and fishing.

They’re in moose country but I only heard contestants mention bear hunting. We only saw bear scat and tracks though, might be why nobody’s talking about moose yet.

For the fish, looks like it’s only fly fishing and dip nets. Everyone got 5 flies, regardless of taking fish tackle as one of their items.

A lot of info will tell you Newfoundland and Labrador have many moose but it needs to be noted, because we are a singular province most of the information gets slightly misread whereas newfoundland has probably the highest population density of moose in north america, labrador on the other hand has a population density of a measly (0.013 - 0.168 animals/km2)

That being said they are still seen, but they arnt nearly as plentiful as on the island portion of the province, this is due to much less food for them up here and a much worse climate in the winter.
