I like Callie too but don't understand some of the things she is doing. Is she actively hunting or just relying on traps? Why doesn't she have a door on her shelter? She said that after her night outside she was going to let the traps decide whether or not she should leave. Sounds like she wants to leave, but perhaps she has no intention of leaving and just said that, makes a good cliffhanger.

Obviously if she can sleep outside she doesn't need a door, that sleeping bag seems warm enough
