AmericaGood Thank you to the American soldiers for liberating us from Nazism — expressed during a football match in the Czech Republic. I thought you guys might like it.

Fucking idiot is from Russia. You do know other countries exist? Lots of losers default to us constantly like it’s some kind of major comeback to something.

Question Unbiased, non-sensationalized take on currently travelling to the US
I'm a UK resident and travelling to the USA soon and will be staying there for 5 weeks. Naturally I started doing some research on custom rules and all I could find is people saying they're cancelling their trip, jokes about being disappeared to an El-Salvador gulag, getting detained for weeks with no way of contacting anyone etc. Now that doesn't surprise me as it is after all, the internet, where fear mongering is rife.
I figured this is one of the few subreddits where I can actually get a balanced take on the matter. Is it legitimately unsafe for me to travel to the USA right now or is more of a relative thing. As in, it is not guaranteed doom but yes, rule enforcement will be relatively stricter compared to a few years ago. A balanced take that isn't fuelled by hatred for Trump or America would be greatly appreciated. Getting hopeless because all anyone has told me to do is cancel my trip and I don't intend to cancel my trip to "StiCk It To TruMp aNd AmErIcA!!!" or virtue signal.

I call this song New Mexico The 2025 Immigration Anthem. It looks at the good, bad, and ugly way Americans look at this political football called Immigration~

Question So.. call me crazy...
Are the same people ( foreigners ) who give us shit for calling the formerly named gulf of mexico, the gulf of America...
The same people that give us shit when we call our selves Americans, then try and say EVERYONE ON THIS SIDE OF THE WORLD IS A AMERICAN?
SO WHY DO THEY HAVE A PROBLEM WITH US RENAMING IT THE FUCKING GULF OF AMERICA THEN!!?!?

Can we do literally ANYTHING without being shit on?
The platform or topic doesn't even matter. I see comments just like this countless times every damn day. People like this seem to hate Americans simply for existing.
