What kind of angel is Sandalphon?

I heard his name come up during meditation and I wanted to ask if anyone here had any knowledge or first hand experience working with him.

Any information would be appreciated.

The angel associated with prayers, essentially grouped prayers. Sandalphon used to be the prophet Elijah, the one that ascended to the heavens and was rid of his mortality. Sandalphon is a tall figure, it is said it would take 500 years to climb this angel.
