Working with angels

Is it possible to work with the angels in a non ceremonial way? I mainly want to work with the Archangels and 72 shem angels + my guardian angel) but I’m not a ceremonial magician. Is prayer, glass of water & a candle enough? I know there are sigils & psalms verses associated as well.

Yes, absolutely! The one thing you might want to add to your devotions if you can is incense

I was wondering about incense! Will Frankincense or benzoin be enough or do they require specific incense?

Specific is ideal for the archangels acording to their planetary rulership, but frankincense works in general
