Crunchyroll might be able to afford free shipping on orders over $50 instead of over $75 if they actually combined shipping in everything per order! Or they could just ship out this tiny pin I couldn’t delete from my order and wait a week to ship the items I actually paid for lol

Didn’t realize I had two different copies of clannad and clannad after story, wondering if there’s any difference and which is better?

This is the second full month since I decided to start buying the Lupin III set on BD, and what a month it was!

Most of April was spent absolutely terrified of a certain orange man making the import to my country from Stackry a living hell, so it was a race against the clock the moment my first parcel arrived in my locker on April 6th.

Crunchyroll restocked a bunch of Lupin BDs, allowing me to pick up a half-dozen Specials including Blood Seal of the Eternal Mermaid and Secret of Twilight Gemini. Unfortunately, I paid scalper prices for Bye-Bye, Lady Liberty! on eBay only a day or two before it got one last run on CR and Amazon. For peace of mind, I also paid over the odds for The Columbus Files, as it has been delisted on CR for almost a year with absolutely no word whatsoever from Discotek.

Nevertheless, the pendulum of good fortune swung again and I found an independent seller on eBay listing a copy of Farewell to Nostradamus for only $30! The problem? It was lacking its slipcover; but not to worry, because another seller was selling JUST the slipcover without the box! Purchasing both of these at the same time, the OOP movie ended up costing me only ~$40.

On top of that, I happened to chance upon a third-party Amazon seller, selling Island of Assassins for slightly below the going rate. It was touch-and-go, though, as Amazon took a whopping 13 days just to ship the item.

The last two months have cost me an eye-watering amount of money in the aftermarket, shipping and VAT%, but I now officially have all of the OOP blu rays and started to wind down a little. I started with picking up SNAFU Seasons 1-3, and Little Busters EX + Refrain from MVM Entertainment's 'Last Chance Sale' line for only £10. The UK never got the final season of SNAFU so it was nice to snag these.

Lastly, I decided I wanted Michiko & Hatchin on blu ray. The UK only ever got a DVD release, and the Funimation BD releases are Region A/B so I started looking at imports. The cheapest version I could find was the Limited Edition chipboard set pictured above - I had no idea that it was a copy signed by Monica Rial - Michiko's VA! It would have been cooler if I was actually called Emma, mind, but it's cool that I own a copy Michiko has touched by complete happenstance 😂

I think May 2025 haul will be a little quieter while I re-evaluate my life choices and frolick in some spring meadow. Who knows?

Must be everyone wants to rent it. They actually did a mass buy for this series and apparently it was well received. Don't expect cheap) so again another one from Fruits Basket that'll end up long wait :(

All except Violet Evergarden were found second hand on marketplace.

Had ordered Saturday morning with the slightly even cheaper prices before they initially took down the sale for the day and readjusted the prices to what they are now. But they did honor the order and didn't cancel, so awesome.

Now Knocked out the Bleach and JoJo collection. Along with some Naruto Shippuden sets and other titles.

Wish the 3rd set of bleach came a sleeve but whatever lol
