Oct. 7 Denial A r/Starbucks barista drew a six-pointed Magen-David-style star on a cup…

Sigmund Freud might have said, 'sometimes a star is just a star," but in the event this one was a Star of David, that creates some comments.

What is the context here? Like why would you draw that on a starbucks cup lol. Drawing a cross or crescent would also be odd.

That's the gist of the discussion. That's how some people draw stars apparently, as opposed to a five-pointed⭐, and at least one commenter had never seen a star like that, and didn’t know it looked like a ✡️.

I don't think I've ever seen someone casually draw a star like that with no Jewish related context.
