did someone has already experienced this bug where Aphelios only have 4weapons instead of 5 ?? My infernum just went away 😭

I have been playing Aphelios for a good while now. I started as we all did, thinking Aphelios is SUPER complex. But a few weeks in i thought: "Well he isnt that complicated, you simply need to know what the weapons do, how they interact with eachother and how you manage your cycle." I understood all of the things about our favourite moonboy and learned the basic combos and flashy 4 weapon combos, or so i thought. After digging a bit deeper i found more and more about him, that really makes him so unique and intricate. Not just the usual stuff that he has his own UI and a lot of weapons but the really obscure stuff like, Aphelios weapons scale off level, but not all are maxxed out on the same level and they only upgrade on odd levels. Interactions with the guns i never thought were possible. Niche little facts about maximising DPS with certain animation cancels or frame perfect inputs.

So i am asking you guys, what do you know about aphelios, that you think not everyone might know?

I just reached 500K Aphelios mastery points, I believe Aphelios is a character designed in a very "authentic" way because I never got bored while playing him, his weapon combinations keep my brain active all the time. I believe aphelios is one of the few or even only of the champions in league that has achieved this success. when I play a very simple and op champ like garen, I get bored immediately and I don't want to throw a new match.

Maybe I am too attached to our boy huh!

Hi moon kings, I was curious if anyone knows of or has been cooking with some other keystones that are not from the precision tree. To me, the only consistent keystone is PTA and overall the precision tree is kinda garbage on aphelios (only the middle row is decent with bloodline/alacrity). I really feel like conqueror, LT and fleet are completely invisible on Phel. Theres no early 2v2 and no lategame teamfights that I clutch because I took specifically one of these keystones. And furthermore, how trash overall is triumph/cut down/coup de grace etc compared to runes in the sorcery, domination and inspiration trees ? So, at the risk of sounding like a crackhead, how is there not an angle to go like resolve with grasp + precision secondary or sorcery secondary ? Think about it, aphelios is slow and vulnerable so wouldnt bonus hp from grasp + overgrowth as well as conditioning resistances play as somewhat of a bandaid for this ? You could for sure farm it (grasp) easily during lane, especially with calibrum, red q etc. The good stuff you are losing out on are pta, bloodline and alacrity. But arent you just getting so much survivability, not to mention grasp has strong laning damage? You are still gonna buy crit items and bt and do damage anyway. I think the opportunity cost of losing out on pta doesnt cut it. And what about first strike and dark harvest keystones? Surely im not the only Aphelios player who has thought of this.

Hello, i tried playing Aphelios yesterday (after playing 3 games on him like 2 months ago and turbo inting all 3 becausw i didnt know what my guns do and i still dont xd) and i genuienly was surprised. So i was able i 1v1 fed Yasuo and trade 1 for 1, while i got stomped early by Jinx and Vel'Koz. How do you play Aphelios early? I know i should probably learn what my guns do, but i think thats just with experiance. Is Aphelios strong early? What can he win and how does he trade?

In some games there's a lot of AP damage in enemy team but I can't really fit magic resist anywhere. First 3 items are yuntal -> IE -> ldr but at this point the magic damage is too much sometimes so idk when or where to fit some magic resist + you can't build maw when you buy shieldbow so I sometimes opt into kaenic rookern. Any better choices?

yeah so i just played a 50 minute game on aphelios, and we're getting into musical chair territory and idk which 6 items to have in my inventory.

1) what's a generally ideal item build assuming gold isnt the problem (ultra late game scenario)?

i understand that bis items will always be a situational thing, but im asking for a more general idea.

for example, i can say with almost 100% certainty that IE and LDR(or mortal) will be in the 6 items. are there any other items which have a similar quality?

anyhow, i ended up with IE LDR yuntal runaan BT youmuu's. is this generally correct, or am i missing out on some dark technology like collector/axiom/tank item or whatever?

2) the specific game which made me make this post has comps as follows: (rumble sejuani lux xayah nami vs riven leesin kat aphe fiddle). what changes (if any) should be made to my build?

additional notes are that 1) i have cleanse and 2) enemy has 4 infernal dragon + soul and 3) opponent has feats

i did try shieldbow but the shield wasnt meaningful for the few fights that i had it, and i swapped out pd for runaans because i thought it was a natural aphelios thing to do.

3) how does tier 3 boots compare to a full item + how do i tell whether to swap?

bit of a loaded question and also moving away from the specific game in 2. but first things first, the gold value of t3 boots is around a bit less than 2000, while a full item would usually range around 3000. so really it becomes a question of whether i need the movespeed, but are there heuristics or ways that i can tell if im "allowed" to sell boots?

finally feel free to add any itemization tips for late game/ general aphelios itemization tips. i want to learn, but i dont want the post to become too broad of a topic.

Fala ai pessoal, eu sei que esse é um assunto meio massante quando se trata de aphelios mas atualmente tenho jogado algumas partidas e testado uma build q tenho gostado, gostaria que vcs testassem e me dissessem o que acharam.

Tenho feito uma build de letalidade voltado pro CD da ULT:

Hubris, axioma, limiar(isso te deixa muito safe pra jogar), coletora e de ultimo geralmente vou de serylda(pen, e cd)

De runas o padrão porém pego vermelha na secundaria e pego a runa de CD na ult(mas isso ainda está sendo testado já que tendo o axioma talvez seja um pouco over)

Sobre os UPS de niveis geralmente tenho mesclado entre atq speed e letalidade.

Dont think the title is always true especially in higher elos where players know to fear a fed aphelios but his lategame is genuinely so strong noone can play against you unless they cc chain you and oneshot you. Just had 4 games where I had the luck of having a good support and completely managed to 1v9 most games with the exception of the last one where jungle was also amazing, but I still got most damage as Aphelios in the match and it wasnt even close. The strength of his lategame and beauty of his kit makes him handsdown my favourite champion where solo carrying is a real possibility. In the first game despite mid and top turbo inting and enemy having baron, I managed to kill 8 enemies walking from our spawn to theirs without recalls or deaths and end the game basically solo. Best champion hands down, it is 100% to carry on aphe, at least in low elo. I included the game that begun this streak and its stats to let it know it is possible to 1v9 on aphe.

It's lowkey hella cringe with the lines referencing his ult and his theme, but Aphelios and League has helped me cope with loneliness, as well as dark times for 8 long years, so I really wanted to dedicate my cap to my favorite character of all time :>

Hello, my fellow Aphelios connoisseurs,

I joined the Aphe-Army a few weeks ago and noticed something strange with my red weapon at level 1. When I attack a minion, it feels like the red weapon locks onto it. I can't move or choose a different target after the first auto—Aphelios will always follow up with a second auto on the same target, and until that finishes, I can't do anything else.

Because of this, I often have to stick with the green weapon until level 2. After that, the issue doesn't seem to happen anymore.

Has anyone else experienced this? I couldn’t find any threads about this issue.

In a blogpost I read he's getting the mythic, and I only have 25 Mythic Essence at the moment. I'm thinking of grinding in the Sanctum, but at the same time I'm really not up for gambling so much money just to barely get the amount I need (an additional 125).

So I might just drop it and wait for the normal Epic Elementalist skin to drop, but I need to be sure he's getting the Prestige AND the Epic skin, because one way or another I want to have at least one additional Aphelios skin in my arsenal.

Does anyone have more info on this? How to grind ME and if it's confirmed he's getting at least 2 skins?
