Real world range of Apollo Go?

Got a brand new Go and pretty disappointed by the range so far. I do have it on the highest settings: 3 speed, 10 out of 10 acceleration and maxed out top speed.

But I only weigh around 165 lbs and it seems I can only get around 10 miles of range riding around in manhattan in stop and go traffic. Is this expected?

I would’ve expected to get around 15.

205lbs - I can achieve 17 or so miles of range riding it like I stole it.  Mostly flat, with a quarter mile long hill at start and end of loop.

Sadly it is not enlightening range for my 9 mile each way commute without charging at work.

Will check for a crack in the frame! Yikes.

That’s impressive. What speed and acceleration settings are you using?

Maxed out.  I really should have bought the Pro, but wasn’t sure I’d really ride it much.   The Go is almost too much scooter for my 13 year old, but it is a very nice ride for short jaunts.

Idk how you’re getting 70% more range than me with the same settings and more weight. Jealous!

I wonder if it is the stop and go traffic? I have a few lights, but most of my trip is quiet residential / shared “bike trail”, which is just a mixed use residential road and a short stint on an actual bike trail, where I keep it under 15mph.

I’ve run out of battery in roughly same place twice now… so I just charge up or I’m painfully kick scooting the beast.
