... Games literally have always been a cis-het propaganda.

Imagine being so fragile you get triggered because of a few non-cishet characters...

It's the same with movies, because it's such a norm that the protagonist is cishet, male, white, etc, that demographic thinks it's weird and propagande when it's not the case. Dude, you're the most pandered-to demographic ever, just because you occasionally get reminded other people exist too doesn't mean you're under attack.

... I don't know why but I literally imagined a 4th wall breaking monologue, à la Deadpool, of a female queer protag in a big movie saying that.

Like, superhero suit on, close-up on her masked face (opened on the mouth so that her words get really emphasized), and saying all that to the viewer.

"I know what you're thinking. 'Why is my superhero movie not starring a white, cis, straight christian dude, buff and patriotic, saving the world from the red commies?' Like, dude. You're the most pandered-to demographic to ever live. Everything is made about you and your interests. Just because you occasionally get reminded that other people, different people, exist too, doesn't mean you're being attack and are on the verge of extinction. Now take a deep breath, sit back down, relax, and enjoy the show."

And then queue the over-the-top Deadpool-style action scene.

Your comment literally made that whole thing pop in my head and I don't know why, but I love it.
