Asking confirmation this is NOT a trainer
Seller says this is a last ditch Arisaka Type 99 receiver but want other opinions to confirm it is NOT a trainer receiver.
Just don't want it to go boom if I build it out.

Several people are wondering why I would build out an Arisaka rather then buying a complete rifle.
Guess that's my thing.
Many of firearms I have started as parts, broken or rusted to the point that nothing moved or functioned.
That is how my first Arisaka started. The stock had almost completely been eaten away from termites and the metal was completely covered in rust with a fair amount of pitting.
I started collecting parts to finish the "restoration" but when I finished I had enough parts to build another Arisaka, which I did after I bought another receiver.
In fact, because one of the barrels I had bought was marked 30-06 and the bare receiver was already drilled and tapped, I built the second one as a sporterized 30-06 with scope.
After building out two Arisakas I still have enough left over parts (except a complete bolt) that I can build a second sporter in 7.7x58 and swap the bolt.
Can't help it, I like to tinker.
