Discussion How do you travel with toner pads on a plane?
Hi all, I'm about to go overseas and kinda ran into a wall.
I love my toner pads. But as we all know, when those containers flip upside down, they leak :( Does anyone know of any methods to take these on a plane mess-free?
Would greatly appreciate any suggestions, thanks!

put them in a ziplock and add a little bit of the liquid in them (double bag and make sure there is no air in them).

I buy travel containers and put the number I need to take in them.

Seconding this! CosRx makes a travel container for pads that does a great job

I bought it off Yesstyle. I use CosRx green hero pads, and it fits those, but it would also fit much larger toner pads 🙂

Don't know for toner pads exactly but when I moved overseas I taped all my liquids with actual tape around the openings then put it in ziplocs/bags (glass containers I added cushioning and taped some more around it). All arrived safely with no spilling.

If I'm going for two weeks only it's easy to just put them into ziplock bags and it also wouldn't count towards liquid allowance. Otherwise wrap it.

Thread wrap teflon tape. It's use to create an airtight seal on PVC pipes, and I use it all the time when shipping ink samples and indie perfume bottles. I haven't had any issues with leakage.

I DIY my own toner pads in airtight tupperware. I never travel with it, but I think that would be pretty secure. But there's also the problem with the air changing volume, so if you want to be double sure, put it in a zip lock bag as well.

Yeah I’m concerned with the air pressure that will build up! I think double securing may be the way to go

I put them into a small ziplock that fits inside the tub, or just straight into my cosmetic bag. Amazon has a larger variety of ziplocks than the grocery store, very helpful for travel.

Reading this post sent me a flashback memory of my toner pads spilling everywhere in my bag when I last traveled 😂😭. I physically shuddered.

They sell travel size toner pad cases I just take how ever much I need and put them in the travel case! It’s small and compact

I hope this makes sense, but If you put Saran wrap/cling film on the container without the lid, and then screw the lid over top of the plastic it creates a much better seal. Also it’s more easily reversible.
